00:09 We have a report from Louisa Erizpe.
00:11 Rise and shine Louisa.
00:13 A lot of people were welcomed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport
00:20 when Jimmy Pacheco returned from the OFW.
00:23 Jimmy is one of the group that was attacked in the Gaza City.
00:29 After landing, he was greeted by his wife, children and his mother.
00:34 He was hugged tightly and Jimmy said that he has no other feelings but to be happy to be able to return home with his family.
00:44 I chose to stay with him until his last breath.
00:51 He was killed in a shelter where he was sleeping.
00:59 It was around 8.30am.
01:02 He was cut three times.
01:05 The other two were cut in my forehead and here.
01:11 But I am happy that I am here in the Philippines.
01:16 I am happy that I have my family and my wife.
01:21 This is like a dream for me.
01:25 I plan to return to the Philippines even if it's only for a few years.
01:34 I just want to secure my children's education.
01:37 Even though Jimmy experienced a lot, he still wanted to return to Israel to work as a caregiver.
01:45 He said that this is not just to rely on the government's help that he will receive.
01:50 The DMW promised that they will help Jimmy's needs.
01:54 But until now, he and his family have received a lot of help, including support for livelihood, psychosocial support and many more from OAH, DOH, DSWD and even the Embassy of Israel in the Philippines.
02:09 We have received assistance but of course, upon his return, we will mobilize further our resources in terms of livelihood.
02:22 This is what the President pointed out when we were in the Philippines.
02:25 The long-term support for livelihood and employment for Jimmy's family.
02:32 Psychological support and assistance in Israel.
02:35 The Israeli government has been with him since the moment he was out of Gaza in the hospital and then follow up until arriving here.
02:44 Joining the family of the victims of terror, he is now, him, Clarice and the children are joining this big Israeli family of victims of terror.
02:55 They are entitled of getting assistance of support of the Israeli government both on a monthly basis.
03:04 Jimmy's wife, Clarice, is now able to breathe freely after 48 days that they were not able to talk to Jimmy.
03:12 Now, they are with him.
03:14 I lost hope because I thought that he was gone. For 49 days, I was not able to talk to him or we have nothing to do.
03:27 I am very sad. It's better if... I need security. I need security. I am hoping.
03:38 While the meeting with Pacheco was held, the DMW and OWA also met with the 50 Filipinos who were allowed to return home by the government from Saudi Arabia.
03:47 Some of them had problems with their employers, so they were allowed to return to the Philippines from the shelter in Saudi Arabia.
03:54 Jackie Lin is still fresh with the bitter experience that her employer was unable to pay her salary. She is very thankful that she was able to return home.
04:02 I was in accommodation for almost 4 months, but I was still forced to send money to my children.
04:09 I was able to do part-time work, but not everyday.
04:13 I gave them money, but I did not tell my children that I have the same system.
04:19 I did not want them to worry.
04:20 Many people were escaping from my company. I accompanied them because nothing will happen.
04:25 I was able to help the government. So, sir, thank you for welcoming me today.
04:34 We really miss the Philippines.
