00:19 and Meghan getting an invite for Christmas 2023.

00:26 Like I could only imagine her anxiety and how it extends not just on this occasion but

00:33 other occasions that members of the royal family usually attend together.

00:37 And just thinking about the potential awkwardness of a royal family Christmas that has Meghan,

00:43 Harry, William, Kate, and King Charles all in one room, yeah, that gives me anxiety.

00:56 But getting into the details though, insiders have shared that Kate is kind of on edge thinking

01:02 that Meghan and her family might show up uninvited for a royal face-off during Christmas 2023.

01:10 Recent news suggests that Meghan really wants Prince Harry to mend things with his dad and

01:15 brother, and Kate's concerned that this family drama might spark up again like crazy

01:21 throughout the holiday season.

01:26 The insider also specifically had this to say, "She's made no secret of the fact that

01:31 she's also concerned they may effectively try to gate crash the family festivities.

01:39 If that happened, she'd be furious."

01:42 The plans are all so up in the air, they're not sure what's happening, which is naturally

01:47 creating a lot of unsettled feelings, and Kate is feeling stressed and on edge about

01:53 it all.

01:54 Kate just wants a peaceful family Christmas without drama, and she knows that if Harry

01:59 and Meghan show up, it will ruin it, and they'll be forced to endure yet more conflict and

02:05 upset.

02:06 The source spilled some more details too, saying that Prince William is also feeling

02:11 just as on edge as Kate is.

02:14 Apparently he's not too thrilled about the idea of catching up with his brother Harry

02:19 or Harry's wife Meghan, but he's all in to see his niece and nephew.

02:25 But where does Harry and Meghan stand on this issue?

02:28 In response to this, one journalist named Lynn Carrot reports that apparently Meghan

02:33 and Harry are open to spending some time with the family during the holidays, and here's

02:39 what she had to say, and I quote, "According to friends of Meghan and Harry, they are keen

02:44 to return to the family fold to see more of Charles, allow their children Archie and Lilibet

02:50 to spend the festive season with their grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, which they have

02:55 never done before."

02:57 One thing to mention is that Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle's rocky relationship goes

03:01 back a few years, and according to a writer, Omid Scobie, in his new book Endgame, Inside

03:08 the Royal Family and the Monarchy's Fight for Survival, he says that Kate wasn't really

03:13 in favour of Meghan from the start.

03:16 He says that her doubts began when Meghan first joined the royal family, and things

03:21 got even more strained since Prince Harry and Meghan took a step back from their senior

03:26 royal roles and moved to California in 2020.

03:30 And of course, Prince William and Harry's relationship was a bit strained too, especially

03:35 after Harry claimed in his book Spare that William got physical with him during an altercation

03:42 one time.

03:43 But just think about it guys, it's said that Christmas miracles happen all the time, so

03:48 it's probably going to take a Christmas miracle to have the royal family be in harmony, not

03:55 just for the holiday season, but for future occasions as well.
