Baahubali: The Beginning is a 2015 Indian high fantasy film directed by S. S. Rajamouli, filmed in Telugu and dubbed into Hindi.
Storyline: In the ancient kingdom of Mahishmathi, a woman holding a child is chased by two soldiers, after killing them she slips and falls into the swirling waters of a river; the water submerges her but by holding the baby out of her with one hand she manages to prevent him from drowning too. The little boy is saved by the inhabitants of a village and adopted by Sanga and her husband. Named Shivudu, he grows up to be a strong and adventurous young man, intrigued by the waterfall and the mysterious lands above it. After finding a wooden mask that fell right from the top of the mountain, he is driven to find its owner and manages to climb the waterfall. The mask belongs to Avanthika, a rebel warrior who is part of a group led by Devasena's brother engaged in guerrilla warfare against king Bhallaladeva to save their former queen Devasena. Avanthika gets an opportunity to save the queen but falls in love with Shivudu after finding out that he climbed the waterfall for her. Shivudu agrees to help her in her mission and sneaks into the city to save Devasena.
