00:14 of accolades, including her two Academy Awards, 10 Grammys, 5 Emmys, and her Tony.
00:19 Streisand will receive the honor at the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards,
00:23 which will stream live on Netflix for the first time on February 24.
00:27 She is the 59th recipient of the tribute and follows Sally Field,
00:30 who received it during the 2023 telecast. Streisand said in a statement,
00:34 "Ever since I was a young girl sitting in the Lowe's Kings Theatre in Brooklyn,
00:38 I dreamed of being one of those actresses I saw on the screen. The movies were a portal to a world
00:42 I could only imagine. Even though I was an unlikely candidate, somehow my dream came true.
