I've kind of noticed there's a lot of sort of kind of punkier heavier bands coming through
00:04
and I think for a while it was very indie just in mainstream music very indie orientated very
00:09
sort of placid and there's a kind of injection of sort of like fire and a bit like the heavier
00:15
riffs and the grunge things kind of coming back. Mother Half's brother always said to me that he's
00:19
noticed that music kind of goes like in ways where it's really happy sort of music and then it gets
00:25
really sad kind of music and you've you know working here I've noticed that in just the time
00:29
I've been here as well. So I think we're kind of getting a bit of a wave of sort of like heavier
00:34
stuff coming through now which I love but you know we're still obviously getting all the kind of more
00:40
mainstream stuff in there as well but that's one thing and I think you're always just going to get
00:44
folk who just love a bit of disco. Yeah you see things getting popular like certainly at the
00:50
moment rock and roll sort of music or dance music you know where in certain times over a 30 year
00:58
period for a younger generation they can become more popular as in they're more dance orientated
01:05
or they're more guitar orientated and certainly at this time it's guitar. Yeah. You know that
01:12
seems to be what's driving you can see the same type of crowd that you would think maybe 10 years
01:21
ago or something like that would have been more a dance kind of thing you know but they're involved
01:25
in bands and it's interesting to watch how that progresses and then ultimately something else
01:34
comes. Yeah that'll happen, something else will come through. We've got a lot of bands playing
01:40
but I think really we kind of took the decision during lockdown when we had a lot of time on our
01:47
hands as everybody does. Yeah. Was that we what we had was 120 capacity venue I think we looked at it
01:55
and said you know like how can we make this small venue the absolute best we can make it. So first
02:04
of all bringing up the light and sound systems I mean we've used every part of the building we
02:09
possibly can. Yeah. You know like our office is behind us and we switched that in half the size
02:19
so that we could put in a green room and we've put a small bar in the venue because we think
02:26
it's important that people don't have to leave the venue to get a drink if they want to watch a band.
02:32
Make it somewhere people want to play. Yeah.
