Sam Thompson opened up on the pressure he has faced to have children during a conversation with Josie Gibson on Wednesday night’s (6 December) episode of I’m a Celebrity.

00:00 - How long have you been with Zara for now, Sam?

00:01 - Four and a half years.

00:02 - And so she's obviously definitely the one.

00:06 - Yeah.

00:07 The thing is, and it's kind of tough to explain this,

00:09 but like, a lot of people who are like,

00:13 mate, you need to have kids, you need to have kids.

00:15 - Yeah.

00:15 - And I'm like, yeah, but my circumstance

00:17 is different to yours.

00:19 - Yeah.

00:19 - 'Cause like, my girlfriend,

00:20 and I would never ever want to take this away from her,

00:22 is like doing so well.

00:25 - Yeah.

00:25 - And I know she doesn't want to sort of like give that up,

00:29 and she shouldn't have to.

00:30 I just feel like there will come a time

00:32 where we're both like, yeah, now's the time.

00:34 But I just don't think it's now.

00:36 - Well, I had Reggie at 33,

00:39 and I'm so glad I had him at that age as well,

00:41 because I really lived my life.

00:43 - Yeah.

00:44 - And if anything happened to me tomorrow, Sam,

00:46 I have had a blinder.

00:47 - Yeah.

00:48 - I've had a really good time. - You've had a good innings.

00:49 - I've had a good, yeah.

00:51 Until you feel like that, you know, hold out.

00:54 - And when Zara's ready, we'll know.
