00:00 The Department of Transportation is preparing to increase the number of passengers this holiday season.

00:14 It is expected that the number of passengers will increase by 10% in the airports,

00:22 when the peak season or peak time of this holiday season arrives.

00:29 According to DOT, our Secretary Jaime Bautista,

00:31 122,000 passengers are expected to be on the airport every day

00:36 and it is expected to increase to 130,000 a day in the rush of home before Christmas.

00:43 There is no data or figure on land-based transport and seagoing vessels

00:47 because of the number of terminals.

00:50 Earlier, Bautista inspected the assets and property of the Philippine Coast Guard

00:55 that will be deployed in the Oplan Biyahing Ayos including air assets, ships, canine units

01:01 and other sea and land-based assets of the Philippine Coast Guard.
