Birmingham headlines 5 December: builder sentenced after admitting murder
A builder who battered a customer to death following a row over work on her extension is facing life in jail after admitting murder. Peter Norgrove killed Sharon Gordon at her home in Dudley in July.

Next, and police have released a photo of a man wanted for supplying crack cocaine. Michael Duffy, 43, was sentenced to six years in prison in his absence after he failed to appear at court. He was charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine across Birmingham.

And finally, renowned luxury watch, and jewellery retailer Goldsmiths has announced the re-opening of its Birmingham Bullring showroom which has untaken refurbishment and expansion. The showroom now spans two floors with a dedicated entrance for Rolex customers and a bar.
