New storm to send rain, snow from Michigan to Maine

It will be a stormy end to the weekend across the Midwest and Northeast as a strengthening storm delivers rain and accumulating snow to the regions.

00:03 clouds but here comes our next storm

00:06 and we're going to have rain right

00:07 out of the gate tomorrow.

00:09 Washington DC, New York City,

00:11 Boston. Here we go now.

00:12 Little cold air.

00:13 There's a little injection of cold

00:15 air coming in across New England

00:17 tonight and tomorrow morning.

00:18 And here comes the snow.

00:19 First of all,

00:20 Adirondacks,

00:21 Green and White Mountains.

00:22 But I'll tell you what I think it's

00:24 going to be cold enough for snow,

00:26 even across central parts of Maine.

00:28 You can see all the blue showing up

00:30 around Augusta around Bangor.

00:32 Now there will be a mixture of

00:34 snow and rain along I-95,

00:35 but you get West and North of I-95

00:37 here in Maine toward the Milanocket area.

00:39 You get in the central and northern

00:41 parts of Piscataquas,

00:42 Penobscot counties here.

00:43 There's going to be quite a bit of snow here.

00:46 Several inches of snow.

00:47 Again,

00:48 it's mostly in northern locations.

00:49 I don't think while there can be some

00:51 flakes down toward the New York State

00:54 Thruway, I don't think we're going

00:55 to see any accumulation.

00:57 I think from Bangor toward Augusta

00:58 toward Lewiston I think we're

01:00 talking about an inch or two.

01:02 But here we go in central parts of

01:04 Maine here where we're looking at

01:06 about 6 to 12 inches of snow around

01:08 Milanocket and in the mountains.

01:10 Adirondacks,

01:10 Green and White Mountains.

01:12 Boy, skiers rejoice.

01:13 What a season so far.

01:14 We've had a few to several inches

01:16 of wet snow beginning Sunday night

01:19 and lasting into Monday morning.

01:20 Early Monday afternoon.
