00:00 I had no idea what to expect but when I got here I knew that this was a place that I'd

00:07 like to really accelerate my career at.

00:11 I either wanted to run my own business or I wanted to work for a really innovative company.

00:15 One thing I knew was that I was not going to go down that 9 to 5 path.

00:19 I didn't want just an entry level job, I wanted something that would give me sort of a 360

00:24 degree view of a whole business.

00:26 Vancouver was the perfect fit for that.

00:33 The three month grad program was super exciting and fast as I expected it to be and it really

00:38 gave us a taste of each team.

00:40 One thing that really jumped out to me was that there's very little hierarchy.

00:44 You spend two or three weeks owning a project where you can then at the end decide which

00:50 one you want to continue on with.

00:52 So you can see your impact and the work you do and I just don't think you can get that

00:56 in other companies.

01:01 Every day we have the opportunity to work with people across the globe.

01:04 Being able to build something and then present this to engineers over in San Francisco office

01:08 was something that I never anticipated I'd be able to do.

01:11 It's really exciting to see how we can shape cities and really have an impact.

01:16 No matter how much experience you have, no matter what background you come from, the

01:20 best idea really does win.
