00:00 My name is Tony Healy, I'm currently the CTO and a director of the company.
00:05 The work we do here in South Yorkshire is we carry out digital autopsies on behalf of the coroner,
00:11 which involves putting the deceased through a CT scanner, generating images and then reporting using radiologists back to the coroner.
00:20 Well obviously it's less invasive and it's a lot quicker processes.
00:24 We can generate a report within 24 hours of the scan taking place and hopefully get that deceased person back to their family a lot quicker.
00:33 I think sometimes family members worry about their loved ones having invasive procedures, whereas that's taken away from them by having a CT scan.
00:43 We want to essentially establish a national network across the country and allow all residents of England, Wales and Scotland
00:54 to have access to this service.
00:56 We're a company that's dedicated to this particular service, it's a specialised service, we have experience in it
01:02 and it allows us to basically focus on that service so we can get results for the families.
01:08 The experience has been quite slow in some areas but we've managed to establish good relationships.
01:14 We're now scanning in Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and out of Yorkshire into Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
01:25 We're hopefully wanting to be the first line intervention so we can work on winter easing,
01:32 so allow mortuaries to get the release of bodies quicker and back to their relatives and provide a lot more leaner, proficient service.
