00:00 Before watching the video, I remind you that there is more content on the Hotline.
00:04 In recent years, there have been many large-scale American dog attacks against humans in the UK.
00:10 Therefore, the British government issued a ban on dog breeding early this year.
00:13 Starting from January 1, 2024,
00:15 dog owners in the UK can no longer sell or replace their dogs.
00:20 Dog owners must wear a mouth cover and a dog collar for their pets in public places.
00:26 In addition, dog owners must apply for a permission to raise dogs before the end of February next year.
00:31 At the same time, dog owners must be vaccinated to prevent the dog from breeding and attacking humans.
00:36 Once this ban is implemented,
00:39 at least 246 dogs in the five charity animal shelters in the UK will be banned.
00:46 If the new owner is not found before the ban is implemented,
00:49 they will all face the fate of death.
00:52 Therefore, the animal shelter requires the British government to review the relevant ban.
00:59 These cute and lively puppies are enjoying their food.
01:05 But the lives of these large-scale dogs may be at the end of their lives.
01:10 As the British government banned large-scale dogs,
01:13 the dog owners in the animal shelters have been banned from raising them.
01:18 Some dogs have been sent to the shelter for health reasons.
01:22 She was just literally skin and bones, no fat on her or anything.
01:26 Obviously, she is going to be one of many that we're expecting to come over the next few weeks leading up to December.
01:31 There's a massive, massive influx of people trying to get rid of the dogs basically because of the impending ban.
01:36 To save these large-scale dogs that are about to die in peace,
01:40 some British people have launched a joint movement
01:42 to ask the government to review the relevant ban and postpone the legislation.
01:46 We're asking the government, firstly under pre-protocol procedures,
01:50 to go back and think again about their process and do it again.
01:54 And if they won't, we'll judicially review them.
01:56 The joint movement against the ban on large-scale dogs has already received 600,000 signatures.
