00:00 Namaskar, welcome again to another episode of editorial.
00:09 Interesting headline, isn't it?
00:11 Why are the Gandhi's not yet arrested?
00:15 This is the question that I intend to ask you tonight.
00:21 Let us get right into the show.
00:25 Imagine, imagine if a person comes to you, to your company, to your office, asks you
00:34 for a job, tells you that I am a salesman and I have sold 10 crores worth of products,
00:43 10 crores worth of sales I have done in one year.
00:46 I am a champion salesman.
00:49 Give me the job.
00:52 This is what he writes in his resume and this is what he tells you in his interview.
00:57 You look at the resume, you watch him talk, you see his interview, you take his interview
01:01 and you are impressed and you give him the job.
01:09 In a month you realize that every statement he made in his resume was false.
01:17 He lied to you.
01:19 What you will do and what the law allows you to do is to call him and say that you have
01:24 misrepresented facts.
01:28 You have misrepresented facts in your resume and in your subsequent interview.
01:35 Therefore, we are going to sack you now.
01:41 You lied to us to get the job.
01:46 Is that fact?
01:47 Is that fair?
01:48 This is what you would do.
01:52 Now, why am I saying this?
01:55 I am saying this because, you see, for a salesman or a sales manager or whatever, you can sack
02:03 him if he lies to get a job or if he misrepresents facts to get a job.
02:10 You can sack him, the law allows you to do that.
02:14 But isn't it ironic that the top jobs in our country you can get by possibly misrepresenting
02:24 facts?
02:25 I will tell you what I mean by that.
02:30 But before I get into what I mean by that, I want you to see this one minute video and
02:36 then I will be back.
03:02 But before I get into what I mean by that, I want you to see this one minute video and
03:22 then I will be back.
03:46 But before I get into what I mean by that, I want you to see this one minute video and
04:16 and who has done the theft of Confident Fund?
04:18 Who has done the theft of Harshad Mehta's share market?
04:22 Who has done the theft of Hassan Ali's jail?
04:26 Who has done the theft of IPL?
04:29 Who has done the theft of LIC housing?
04:32 Who has done the theft of Madhupoda?
04:36 Who has done the theft of Fire Front Submarine?
04:40 And who has done the theft of Congress's program of one country?
04:45 Now, sir, apart from changing their names, they have no other option.
04:59 So here, the Home Minister of India, who incidentally has all the powers,
05:05 all the powers, he has police, he has ED, everything in his command.
05:11 The Home Minister of India says that I am so fed up,
05:15 I cannot count the amount of scams that the UPA government did.
05:21 He says that just before the election, that is 2023, he said it now,
05:26 and election is next year.
05:29 And you know what?
05:31 This was the same Home Minister for the last five years
05:33 and his government for the last ten years.
05:36 Rahul Gandhi is not arrested.
05:37 Sonia Gandhi, who was the UPA chairman, is not arrested.
05:40 Not arrested. She is roaming free.
05:42 Manmohan Singh is not arrested. He is roaming free.
05:45 Majority of the ministers were not arrested except for P. Chidambaram.
05:49 Majority of the ministers were not arrested.
05:51 P. Chidambaram also arrested for 100 days, left free.
05:54 So, so many corruptions where the Home Minister cannot count
05:58 and the whole BJP in a very chorus format, you know,
06:04 kind of presenting that corruption to the nation,
06:08 what are they actually telling us?
06:10 That listen, you know, so many corruptions, but you know,
06:12 unfortunately we were not efficient enough to even arrest one person
06:15 because of all these corruptions. Corruption so many.
06:18 Is that what I am supposed to believe in?
06:20 Okay. Be that as it may.
06:23 Let me talk to you about another incident.
06:26 You see, something similar happened in 2013-14.
06:30 In 2013-14, the Bharatiya Janata Party had actually released a film.
06:37 This film was called Vadra Get Rich Quick.
06:40 Vadra Get Rich Quick. This was about Robert Vadra, this one's husband, Priyanka Gandhi's husband.
06:47 And they released a film saying that Robert Vadra,
06:50 in collusion with Congress government of Haryana and Rajasthan,
06:55 looted, looted and struck major land deals and looted the state.
07:02 This was the film.
07:03 I remember people saying that Robert Vadra would be arrested immediately,
07:07 immediately once Bharatiya Janata Party comes into power.
07:10 This was 2013-2014.
07:13 I think this film was released in April 2014, if I am not mistaken.
07:17 Now, 2014, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23.
07:22 Nine years passed, Baba. Vadra is in his house.
07:26 He is enjoying himself. He is going to his club regularly.
07:30 He is having a normal life.
07:32 He is not arrested.
07:34 Now again, what do I understand?
07:36 Do I understand that, oops, it was all a mistake, it was misrepresented,
07:43 these deals actually didn't exist.
07:45 Is that what I should understand?
07:47 Or I should understand that we are not capable, we are not efficient, Baba, to catch this criminal.
07:53 He is too good, too good. We cannot catch him.
07:56 We know he has done it, but we cannot catch him.
07:59 Our government is not capable enough to catch a culprit and put him behind bars.
08:03 Is that what I am supposed to understand?
08:05 Case 2. Let's take case 3.
08:08 Case 3 is when our Prime Minister himself goes out and says that the coalition is now addicted to corruption
08:16 and instead of finding solution to end culture of graft, it stops functioning.
08:21 This is what the Prime Minister said.
08:24 He went on to say that India needs a dream team and not a dirty team in 2014
08:29 and people must decide that during the election.
08:33 This is what he said.
08:34 He said widespread corruption has destroyed the dignity of the Prime Minister's post
08:39 since people below him have begun indulging in more and more corruption.
08:43 This is what Mr. Modi said. All this Mr. Modi said.
08:46 2014.
08:48 2023.
08:50 How many of UPA people have been put behind bars?
08:55 Has Manmohan Singh been put behind bars?
08:58 You say all these people, all this happened under Mr. Manmohan Singh's watch.
09:04 All this happened under his watch.
09:06 So why is he not arrested?
09:08 Why is he not booked? Why is he roaming free?
09:11 He should be arrested, no?
09:13 Sonia Gandhi was the UPA convener. Why is she not arrested?
09:16 Rahul Gandhi. Why is he not arrested?
09:19 So, again, question remains.
09:23 Should I assume that this was misrepresented?
09:27 Or should I assume that we are incapable, inefficient to arrest a culprit?
09:34 We have no ways, means, methods to arrest a culprit who has looted the country.
09:39 Should I assume that?
09:40 Which one of these two should I assume?
09:42 Let's go further.
09:43 You see, it's not just about Bharatiya Janata Party.
09:48 Do you remember a gentleman called Anna Hazare?
09:52 Anna Hazare used to wear those, you know, those clothes and all.
09:55 He used to wear those topi-opi and all, and you know, with 'Main Bhi Anna' and all that.
09:59 You remember that Anna Hazare story?
10:01 And his partner, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, you remember that story?
10:05 You know, he used to be, he used to kind of pose like Gandhi, and he used to sit like Gandhi,
10:10 and he claimed to, you know, give up food, to do dharna, to hunger strike.
10:17 You know, he claimed all that.
10:18 Mounvrat.
10:19 Mounvrat story, we heard what happened in his Mounvrat.
10:23 In fact, do watch that interview with Mr. Raju Parulekar that I had.
10:28 Do watch that interview, you'll know what his Mounvrat was.
10:30 So, we heard all that, this Mounvrat and that topi, and that beautifully shot picture with
10:35 him, sitting exactly like Gandhi, and you know, all of that.
10:38 All of that branding happened.
10:40 All of that branding happened.
10:42 You know why all of this happened and crores of people and crores and crores of rupees
10:47 were spent.
10:48 Crores and crores of rupees were spent to prove UPA was a corrupt government.
10:54 To say that you need a Jan Lokpal Bill and Jan Lokpal Bill is the only solution to the
11:01 problem of India.
11:02 And, you know, BJP supported them fully.
11:05 BJP supported them fully.
11:07 LK Advani and lot of other BJP leaders had gone to show their support to Anna Hazare and
11:15 Arvind Kejriwal.
11:16 You know what is the story, the result of all this?
11:19 The result is, as of 23rd May, this report is as on 23rd May, 2023, not one single person
11:28 has been prosecuted under the Lokpal.
11:31 Not one particular person.
11:33 Not one person.
11:34 From 2014 to now, not one person is prosecuted under Lokpal.
11:40 And this was the same Lokpal Bill that Mr. Anna Hazare sat there and Mr. Arvind Kejriwal
11:47 sat there next to him with a flag, sat there.
11:50 You know, with all that shenanigans and everything.
11:52 You know, one lady cop, Miss Kiran Bedi, you know, walking around with, you know, all that
11:59 happened.
12:00 And since Rajmita has happened to make this Jan Lokpal Bill, to pull the UPA government
12:07 down, they pulled the UPA government down successfully.
12:10 They built the Bharatiya Janata Party government successfully.
12:14 Jan Lokpal also was instituted after a long time.
12:19 But finally, not one person, not one person booked under Jan Lokpal Bill.
12:24 What am I supposed to understand?
12:26 Am I supposed to understand that this Anna Hazare and his company, including Arvind Kejriwal,
12:32 put up this show purely for a political reason?
12:37 Purely for a political reason?
12:39 They misrepresented facts.
12:42 Because otherwise, Lokpal by now should have arrested thousands of people, including Sonia
12:49 Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, the others.
12:53 Everybody should have been behind bars, including that Chidambaram, who should have also been
12:58 behind bars today.
12:59 Why are none of these people behind bars?
13:01 So, the fact is, all these cases that I presented in front of you, these are cases where these
13:10 people had come to front of you, the interviewer, with their resume and with their claims that,
13:17 you know, the current government is corrupt, elect us, make us the government so that we
13:23 can put them behind bars or we can stop corruption.
13:27 My question to you is, has corruption stopped?
13:32 My question to you is, were the people who they claimed to be corrupt way back in 2013,
13:38 2014, how many of them had gone behind bars?
13:43 My question to you then is, wasn't this misinterpretation?
13:48 And my question to you is, how fair that a peon in an office cannot misrepresent facts,
13:56 cannot misrepresent his qualification, cannot misrepresent what he has done and get a job
14:01 because he could be sacked legally, but a government can do that, a politician can do
14:09 that easily.
14:11 Nothing happens to him.
14:13 This is the question that I want to leave with you tonight.
14:17 Till I see you next time, that is Tomorrow at 10.
14:20 Namaskar.
