00:00 "This is what coming is! Yeah! Yeah!" (Cheering)
00:13 Angelina Jolie's daughter Zahara gains a new group of sisters at Spelman College.
00:18 "She's growing up so beautifully."
00:20 That's the 18-year-old sophomore at her crossing ceremony being initiated into the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority
00:26 in a video posted by Essence magazine. It's the first intercollegiate historically African-American sorority.
00:33 "We're crossing! Yeah! Yeah!" (Cheering)
00:51 Now Zahara's joining a group of notable names also in the AKA sorority.
00:56 Felicia Rashad, Loretta Devine, Wanda Sykes and honorary members like Jada Pinkett Smith,
01:02 Alicia Keys, Robin Roberts and Vice President Kamala Harris.
01:05 "I feel like my world expands as their world expands and I learn so much from them."
01:10 "I love this stage."
01:12 Yeah, Angelina's been one proud and emotional mama, especially when she sent Zahara off to college last year.
01:19 "I'm gonna start crying. I'm gonna be hearing about Z."
01:22 "How does it feel to be a Spelman mom?"
01:24 "I have not started crying yet. Alright."
01:26 "It is. It's a big deal. How does it feel to be a Spelman mom?"
01:30 "I'm so excited."
01:32 The college drop-off came just weeks after the two celebrated Zahara earning a spot at the university.

01:40 Yep, that's Angie doing the electric slide alongside some of Z's classmates and alums.
01:45 On Instagram, she shared this photo of Zahara with her Spelman sisters and wrote in the caption,
01:50 "It's a high honor to have her little girl attending school there."
01:54 "When your children are your best friends, it's kind of a, it's a nice life."
01:58 But that wasn't the first time Angelina sent off one of her kiddos to college.
02:02 "I just sent one off. I'm so proud of him."
02:04 Back in 2019, the mom of six dropped off her eldest son, Maddox, at university in South Korea.
02:10 "Have you stopped crying yet? I can't imagine Angelina having to, but did you have the ugly cry?"
02:14 "Don't, like, embarrass your children with an ugly cry."
02:16 "The amount of times I turned and waved. And he sweetly stayed."
02:20 But Angie's not an empty nester quite yet. She's still got Vivian, Knox, Shiloh and Pax at home.
02:25 Their dad, Angie's ex-husband Brad Pitt, told ET he just hopes his kids follow their hearts.
02:30 "I love them to find their own way, find the things they're interested in, find their own voice and flourish."
02:36 Well, Zahara's sure flourishing at Spelman College. And now she's got a whole new set of sisters to cheer her on.
02:43 "Yeah, right?" "Yeah!" "Farley!" "Yeah!"
02:48 "Yeah!"
