In our hands-on review we test out the Dragonfly DFX Scooter, a new four-wheel off-road electric scooter that can go almost anywhere. But is it wort the price-tag?

00:05 to check out the Dragonfly DFX sports scooter.

00:07 It's got four wheels, full suspension,

00:10 and can go pretty much anywhere.

00:12 This is literally one of the most

00:14 badass scooters I've ever ridden.

00:16 (upbeat music)

00:18 So right away, you can tell that the DFX

00:28 is a lot different from most other scooters.

00:30 For one, it's got four wheels instead of two,

00:33 and that's because this is designed for real off-roading.

00:36 It's got big, beefy four-inch tires as well,

00:40 and full suspension, so you can really bounce on this thing

00:43 and you can see how it can really respond easily

00:47 to just about anything you drive over.

00:49 Like most scooters, this one also can fold down,

00:56 so when you wanna store it,

00:58 it's not exactly the most compact.

01:01 It also weighs about 70 pounds,

01:03 so it's gonna be a little bit tough

01:05 getting up your apartment.

01:06 Another standout feature of the Dragonfly

01:12 is that it has a pretty big display in the front here.

01:15 Nice color screen.

01:16 It shows you your speed, your distance,

01:19 battery life, of course, if your lights are on,

01:22 and a few other things like that.

01:23 I also like that this one has turn signals,

01:25 so you can see right here,

01:27 and then in the back, it also shows.

01:31 There are three speed settings, D1 through D3.

01:34 The lowest one, you'll go to maximum

01:35 of about five miles an hour.

01:37 You crank it up to D3, and you're cruising along at 28.

01:40 That's pretty fast.

01:44 Woo, that sure beats looking at spreadsheets all day.
