Black bear breaks into bird feeder before pooping on couple's balcony

A couple were left shocked when a brazen bear climbed on to their balcony and broke their bird feeder before pooping in the middle of their deck.

Danielle Oberst, 30, was relaxing at home in Lake Arrowhead, California, USA, on November 18 when she was visited by an unexpected and unruly guest.

Hilarious footage captured a black bear expertly perched on the rail of her balcony to nibble on a bird feeder before accidentally smashing it with its powerful paws.

Not content with its destruction, the huge animal jumped on to the deck and proceeded to defecate on it while appearing to stare directly at Danielle.

Danielle said: “I was shocked when it pooped on the deck and dreaded having to clean up after it.

“But I thought it was so funny how he looked back towards the camera, almost as if he was laughing at me.

“I’ve been here for about 23 years and last year was the first time I started seeing bears up here.

“It’s been about a year since we last saw one. This one looks like an adolescent or possibly full grown black bear to me.

“The bear stayed for about half an hour.”
