Birmingham’s oldest fish and chip shop hosts celebrity chippie tea with Birmingham City players

Fish and chip shop George and Helen's in Harborne, Birmingham, hosts local celebrity chippie tea as stars unveil their favourite order. It is part of a series of videos to celebrate the 'chippie tea' from Six by Nico founder and head chef Nico Simeone. Stars are  Birmingham City Women’s Football Club players Shiv Wilson and Charlie Devlin, Michelin-star chef and TV presenter, Aktar Islam, Hissy Fit owner and fashion designer Danielle Graham, interior designer and Interior Design Masters contestant, Richard O’Gorman, Chair of Colmore B.I.D’s Leisure and Hospitality Group, Alex Tross, and street food chef and content creator, Chris Hardy, AKA The Fat Foodie, and Zoe Barry, founder of Punks and Chancers, star in the films.

00:11 I mean, who doesn't love fish and chips? It's part of everyone's life.

00:14 The smell of vinegar on chip shop paper, it's nostalgia in a box, innit?

00:18 I think it brings everyone together. Everyone can find something they want to eat. It's great.

00:22 Do you have mushy peas? Do you have curry sauce? Do you have pickled onion? Do you have them all?

00:26 It's all in one. Mush it all up and get it down, you know.

00:29 If there's a gherkin on offer, I'll take it.

00:31 I know I used to get cod and chips and loads of salt and vinegar. I used to tell him put loads of salt and vinegar on that.
