00:40 a certain flock of sheep had a visit from old Mr. Stork.

00:59 Well here we are, pardon me, I mean here we are now, please don't crowd each other.

01:08 Pick out the ewe that you like best and she will be your mother.

01:34 Come on you lazy little lamb, it's time you were awake.

01:39 Oh goodness me, that's not a lamb. Oh there must be some mistake.

01:43 Where am I? Leopards, lizards, oh dear, lynxes,

01:47 long-legged lambs, llamas, oh how did this happen to me?

02:08 Lambert, that's no lamb at all. Lambert is a lion.

02:50 Well, the next morning when the sun rose, the sheep rose

02:55 and all the little lambs were being tidied up by their mothers.

03:01 And Lambert there, just look at the little guy.

03:04 Why he could hardly wait to run and jump and gamble with his brothers.

03:11 [Meowing]

03:15 Uh-uh, you're right, there's something wrong.

03:20 [Meowing]

03:23 The other lambs all laughed at him and teased him with a song.

03:27 Lambert, you can't even bark, you can't even bleat, your ears are too big and so are your feet.

03:36 Lambert, you tail it to shout and so is your wall, there isn't enough for one big bull.

03:47 Lambert, the sheep, fish, lion, Lambert is always trying to be a wild and woody sheep.

03:56 Lambert, the sheep, fish, lion, little lambs all love to put their heads on a stone.

04:04 Lambert thought that he could make a dozen lambs alone,

04:09 while the other lambs all gathered round to watch this funny bout.

04:16 He wanted to be counted in.

04:21 But he was counted out.

04:26 Lambert, the sheep, fish, lion, Lambert is always trying to be a wild and woody sheep.

04:34 Lambert, the sheep, fish, lion, the little lambs got Lambert's gold.

04:40 He was a nervous wreck, he had to hide behind his maw to save his little neck.

04:48 He couldn't bawl and he couldn't buck, at last poor Lambert knew.

04:54 He hated to admit that he was yellow through and through.

05:02 Time changes everything.

05:07 The little spring lambs were sheep by fall.

05:10 And Lambert's maw, oh was she proud of him because she had the biggest sheep,

05:18 a ewe, a lamb, a mutton, isn't he huge?

05:25 However, he's still the butt of all their jokes and takes it on the chin.

05:31 But he's not ferocious like a sheep, but he has a sheepish grin.

05:37 (sheep bleating)

05:42 One night the sheep were fast asleep.

05:49 Lambert woke up with a fright, for he had heard an awful sound.

05:54 (wolf howling)

05:57 And saw an awful, awful sight.

06:01 A hungry wolf had found a flock.

06:04 Lambert was petrified.

06:07 (music)

06:26 Lambert!

06:29 Mama!

06:30 Lambert!

06:33 (music)

06:38 He couldn't bawl, he couldn't butt.

06:40 Lambert!

06:41 He was big but he was yellow.

06:47 Lambert!

06:59 But when he saw this gruesome sight, and heard his mother crying,

07:05 something snapped inside of him.

07:11 He was a raging lion.

07:14 (roaring)

07:31 Lambert's mother is so proud, and the sheep have changed their tune.

07:37 Lambert, the sheepish lion.

07:41 Lambert, there's no denying, now he's a wild and wooly sheep.

07:48 (sheep bleating)

07:50 Instead of the sheepish, wooly sheepish, little wolfy, sheepish lion.

07:57 Oh, and incidentally, don't worry about that hungry wolf.

08:00 He has a place to cling.

08:02 He won't starve, because that bush has berries every spring.
