00:19 or DILG wanted to form an agreement for Filipinos who work seasonably abroad.
00:24 DMW-OIC Undersecretary Hans Kakdak says the plan came about after learning around 40 Filipinos
00:30 in Korea were hired as seasonal workers.
00:32 "It would be better if they came to us so we can coordinate better.
00:38 If they arrive there, we can coordinate with the Korean authorities.
00:44 But of course, the complaints are real.
00:47 So we are coordinating with the labor authorities in Korea about their complaints."
00:52 Secretary Benjar Abalos says the Department of the Interior and Local Government and its
00:58 nine attached agencies are committed to ushering a "Bagong Pilipinas" or "New Philippines"
