00:08 I'm Paul Amadeus Lane.
00:10 I am an accessibility consultant specialist, broadcast journalist.
00:15 You name it, I do it.
00:17 I set up my Access Controller by using my DualSense Controller.
00:20 And what I did with the Access Controller,
00:22 I had it control a lot of my jumping, the melee, the firing,
00:28 all those things that made it difficult for me to do
00:32 just on a regular DualSense Controller.
00:35 I was able to set up my Access Controller that way.
00:38 It really helped me to have a full gaming experience.
00:41 My name is Aaron Price,
00:43 and I'm a peer counselor with the AbleGamers Charity.
00:46 For my setup, I use the curve button caps to rock my wrists over
00:53 as well as the dome analog sticks because it fits my palm really nicely.
00:59 My name is Cesar Flores, and I'm a full-time student
01:02 along with being an accessibility consultant.
01:05 The best part about this Access Controller
01:07 is I'm able to modify it to each game.
01:10 That competitive advantage that I lost when I became disabled came back
01:15 because I was able to program the controller to my liking
01:19 and press a lot of these buttons that were harder for me to press.
01:22 My name's Paul Phillips, and I'm an accessibility consultant.
01:27 I set up the Access Controller to be able to use it with my right hand.
01:32 All the buttons are in front of the analog stick,
01:36 and I can use the back of my hand, mainly my knuckles, to press them.
01:42 My name's Sam Schaafel.
01:43 I'm an accessibility design researcher at Insomniac Games.
01:46 I've been gaming since I was five years old.
01:48 The way I set up the Access Controller is I use the ball stick cap
01:51 because it's easy for me to grip, and then I varied up the buttons
01:54 so that I could navigate by texture and feel as opposed to having to look down.
01:58 It allowed me to move my character with my left hand,
02:00 which is something that, I mean, as simple as it is,
02:03 it's not something I've been able to do since I was a kid
02:05 back in the days of using arcade stick-style controllers,
02:09 so that was really, really nice.
02:11 At first I was a little skeptical, a little afraid
02:14 that I wasn't going to be able to use the controllers
02:18 to play the games that I would want to,
02:21 but I think I was proved wrong when I started playing the game,
02:25 that in fact I would be able to play a lot more complex games,
02:30 which is very exciting.
02:32 The Access Controller is amazing for so many reasons.
02:35 It's easy to set up and customize yourself,
02:37 and it really allows you to game the way you want to game,
02:41 the way you need to game, and just in a way that makes it
02:44 very fun and accessible.
02:46 Each game is its own adventure, and I'm able to tune
02:49 and fine-tune the controller to my liking for each individual game.
02:53 I think this controller is just like a toolbox.
02:57 There's so many different things you can do with it.
03:00 It's going to be great seeing an accessible controller
03:04 designed specifically by PlayStation for the PlayStation,
03:08 because there's going to be a lot of people, myself included,
03:12 that's going to be able to play the PlayStation
03:16 when they didn't really have that option before.
03:19 It's going to be huge.
03:21 The Access Controller will revolutionize the way that you game.
03:28 And ones out there who feel that you cannot game
03:32 because of your disability,
03:34 the Access Controller, give it a try.
03:38 It may open your eyes, but this is something that will
03:41 change the way that we game forever.
