00:00 More details are emerging in the case involving the Tueys and Michael Orr.

00:05 The family is now disclosing how much money Michael allegedly made from his rights to

00:11 the blindside. In court documents obtained by NBC News on Nov. 9, Sean and Leanne Tuey

00:17 state that the former NFL star was paid $138,000 in proceeds from the book and the 2009 movie.

00:26 Per the outlet, the accounting document lists payments stretching back to 2007,

00:31 the year after the book was released, up until the most recent payment, which was made this April.

00:36 According to NBC News, the statement of accounting made by the couple's attorney

00:41 also states that members of the family, including Michael, agreed to divide the

00:45 proceeds of both five ways. E! News has reached out to Michael's reps for comment but has not

00:51 heard back. A rep for the Tueys said the pair had no additional comment when reached by NBC News.

00:57 All this comes nearly three months after Michael filed a 14-page petition

01:02 alleging that shortly after he turned 18 in 2004, the Tueys "falsely advised him to sign

01:09 a document that made them his conservators instead of legally adopting him." The conservatorship,

01:15 according to the petition, granted the couple legal power to complete business deals in Michael's name.

01:21 The former Tennessee Titans player also stated in his filing that he received an unequal cut

01:26 of the profits from the blind side in comparison to the couple. The family, however, has denied

01:32 profiting off the film. Sean and Leigh-Anne have also denied they tricked Michael into the

01:37 conservatorship, disclosing that their intention was to never formally adopt him. In response to

01:43 Michael's request to terminate the conservatorship, they wrote in part in a court filing Sept. 15,

01:48 "They vehemently deny that they saw Michael as a gullible young man whose athletic talent could

01:54 be exploited for their own benefit." The Tueys admit that they never intended to,

01:59 and in fact never did, take any action to assume legal custody through the juvenile

02:04 court of Shelby County, Tennessee. Shortly after filing his lawsuit, Michael shared that he was

02:09 quote "disheartened by the circumstances," telling E! News in a statement through his attorney,

02:14 "This is a difficult situation for my family and me. I want to ask everyone to please respect our

02:19 privacy at this time. For now, I will let the lawsuit speak for itself." A judge officially

02:25 ruled to end the conservatorship in September. However, the court case remains ongoing over the

02:30 financial disputes.
