00:04 Before we get into it, how are you feeling having watched
00:06 your whole journey back on TV?
00:08 Oh, my gosh.
00:10 You know, it was difficult. I'm not going to lie.
00:12 It was really difficult. It's funny how you can be,
00:15 you know, absent from that situation,
00:18 but put right back into it and remembering it all
00:20 when you're watching it.
00:21 You know, just, yeah, it was a tough night for sure,
00:25 but a good one at Women Tell All, definitely.
00:28 What was the toughest scene to watch back?
00:32 You know, I think just, you know,
00:36 the hometowns were such a special, special time.
00:39 And just remembering, you know, I know in my mind,
00:43 standing there at the rose ceremony,
00:45 wondering, you know, which way it was going to go
00:48 and just feeling all that immense emotion,
00:51 thinking, who's he going to choose?
00:54 And of course, I've mentioned this before,
00:56 but I thought that, you know, he'd always had
00:59 kind of an eye for Teresa.
01:00 And so I thought, well, if Leslie gets the rose,
01:02 I bet I'm going home.
01:04 And when he gave the rose to Leslie, I, you know,
01:07 I just thought, oh my gosh, he's choosing out.
01:09 He's totally choosing out.
01:11 And so of course, then you don't want to cry
01:13 right that second, you know,
01:15 bald, thinking I'm going home.
01:17 So I really felt in that moment, like, okay,
01:20 let me just get to the limo.
01:22 Let me just get home and get the heck out of here.
01:24 You know, just before I come unglued.
01:28 But I think, you know, in that moment,
01:29 when he chose Teresa after Leslie,
01:34 and I was going home, when I looked up at him,
01:38 I did not see the Gary that I had known for the past month.
01:42 I saw a total stranger.
01:44 So that was the part that was very, very painful for me.
01:47 I just felt so disconnected.
01:48 Like I didn't get a chance to really say goodbye
01:52 to that person that I'd fallen in love with.
01:54 So for women tell all,
01:56 when I was able to actually sit on that couch with him
01:58 and be able to connect with him in a really wonderful way
02:02 and be able to have that closure,
02:04 it just meant the world to me.
02:05 It was really good.
02:07 - That's interesting that you say that you look up to Gary
02:09 and he seemed different to you.
02:11 What do you attribute that to?
02:12 - He did.
02:14 You know, I think he just,
02:16 it was a hard decision for him too.
02:18 And I think that he knew that logistically
02:22 or for whatever reason,
02:23 that we wouldn't be the best choice
02:25 for sustainable long-term.
02:27 And I think he had to make the decision
02:29 and I respect that he's got wisdom in that area
02:31 and what he needed, what would be right for him.
02:34 And so I think he just sort of put up that wall.
02:36 And even though I understood it,
02:38 it was hurtful for me, you know,
02:40 to not be able to see him and say goodbye.
02:42 So I was so grateful that I got a chance
02:44 to really say goodbye at Women Tell All
02:46 and have that chance to be with him and get closure.
02:51 - What answers did you need
02:53 walking out of that rose ceremony
02:55 that you got at the Women Tell All?
02:57 - You know, it's funny, I'm not really an answer person.
03:01 Whatever answers he had or reasons were totally fine.
03:05 I didn't really even need to know answers.
03:07 I just needed to reconnect with that feeling.
03:09 I needed to feel that his heart was genuine.
03:11 And when we got the chance to be together,
03:14 I truly felt that it was,
03:16 I understood it like without words.
03:18 I didn't really need the words.
03:19 I needed to feel his hug.
03:21 I needed to feel that heart connection.
03:23 I needed to feel that it was okay to love him
03:25 and him love me.
03:27 And yet we could, you know,
03:28 appreciate and support each other moving forward separately
03:32 and whoever he ends up with.
03:34 So I don't know, it just,
03:36 I don't even know what I said during all that.
03:39 I just know that it felt so right to just be with him
03:42 and get that closure, whatever that was.
03:44 It really wasn't about the answers.
03:45 It was about the feeling.
03:47 - Totally.
03:48 So where do you stand now?
03:49 Would you say that you're on good terms with Gary?
03:51 - Oh yeah, absolutely good terms with Gary, yeah.
03:55 I mean, we don't talk.
03:57 We don't talk, but.
03:58 - That's understandable.
04:01 Rewinding all the way back to the very beginning,
04:04 Van saw you on that motorcycle
04:05 and you got that first impression, Rose.
04:08 And then we saw that it was hard to not get that
04:10 like one-on-one time with him so long after that
04:13 and see the connections develop with other women.
04:16 How did that feel for you?
04:17 And do you feel like that ultimately factored
04:18 into how things played out?
04:20 - You know, no, I think that we knew together
04:26 in that first moment that there was something
04:28 worth exploring, but we weren't really sure
04:30 what that might be.
04:31 And, you know, in my heart, it felt like a very soulful
04:36 kind of emotional, spiritual connection
04:38 that was different than what I was used to.
04:40 I was used to more of a more chemistry type thing.
04:44 I know we do a lot of kissing and making out on the show,
04:47 but not to say that there wasn't chemistry,
04:50 but it was different.
04:50 That wasn't the main motivating factor.
04:52 I felt like we had kind of a spiritual connection.
04:55 So getting that first impression, Rose,
04:57 you know, I didn't really know the impact
05:00 of what that all meant.
05:01 You know, I hadn't had the history of the show knowledge
05:04 like some of the other gals, and so I didn't know,
05:07 but I also know first impressions can come
05:09 and go pretty quickly.
05:10 So it sure didn't make me feel
05:11 like I was banking on anything.
05:13 So then the time in between, you know,
05:16 I would start to get doubtful,
05:17 but also would hold onto that,
05:19 that feeling that we carried, that was that connection.
05:23 And that kind of kept me there long enough.
05:26 And, you know, I think it was very genuine and very real.
05:31 So that's, yeah.
05:33 - I mean, fans, your family,
05:35 everyone could see that soul connection
05:37 through your hometown date,
05:39 even leading up to the very end.
05:41 And it was beautiful to watch your whole journey unfold.
05:44 Now, my last question is, what's up with you now,
05:49 in terms of your love journey?
05:50 Are you looking for love again?
05:51 And would you ever look for love again
05:52 as the Golden Bachelorette, perhaps?
05:54 - I was thinking about that
05:57 because I think they're so good at putting,
05:59 they're matchmakers, you know,
06:00 people that do this show are like matchmakers
06:02 and they know what they're doing.
06:03 So I've seen the process work,
06:05 and I think it's very possible to find love
06:07 in this kind of a scenario, oddly, but it is,
06:10 I've seen it, I've felt it.
06:12 So yes, I mean, you know,
06:13 welcome any of those kinds of opportunities,
06:15 aside from the Golden Bachelorette,
06:17 which I don't even know how they make that process
06:19 or who they do it for, but yeah,
06:21 I'm definitely open for love.
06:23 I think that, you know,
06:25 I think that the whole world is opening up to love again.
06:27 And I think that we all should be looking for love,
06:31 not just in a romantic partners,
06:33 but in the connections that we make every day
06:35 with the people that we meet,
06:36 because really what else is there?
06:37 And I think that the show has really made an impact on me
06:41 in that way, like we've got to quit being distracted
06:44 through life and remember that love is really all we have
06:47 and we need to go for it and explore it.
06:49 If we feel any piece of it, we got to go for it.
06:52 - That's such a beautiful thought.
06:53 And it's so clear that you're surrounded by love
06:55 by the other women on the show,
06:57 by your family, by all of us.
