Britons gather to demand ceasefire in Gaza on Armistice Day

00:17 It's not a hate march. I've never seen anything related to what's been reported on hate.

00:24 Previously I've marched with Jewish people, people from all faiths and agnostics and atheists.

00:32 So yeah, here again, because I think Armistice Day is the perfect day to march.

00:37 If nothing else, gosh, how many people actually don't respect the 11 o'clock silence,

00:46 but want to preach about this being a hate march and that we shouldn't march for peace then.

00:50 So that's why I'm here.

00:52 Angela Braverman's words just made me want to come out more because I think she's very hypocritical.

00:58 Armistice Day is supposed to be about the end of the war and this is exactly what people are here for.

01:04 We want to see an end to the war in Gaza and this is what we're supporting.

01:09 So I think it's very hypocritical to say that it's wrong to have this protest on the same day as Armistice Day.

01:17 And then to do a ceasefire and then to put all the effort into negotiations.

01:22 And it's not up to me, I'm not a Palestinian, I don't live there, I can't say,

01:26 "Oh, it should be this, it should be a two-state, it should be a one-state."

01:29 That's not up to me. What's up to me is to talk to my government,

01:33 say whatever I can to my government to stop supporting Israel doing what they're doing to the people of Gaza.

01:41 Pressure is going to continue to mount. That's why people are coming.

01:45 They're coming because they think this is a basic moral test for everyone

01:49 and it's a moral test for our political leaders.

01:51 Do you accept violations of international law, commissions of war crimes,

01:56 and what numerous scholars of crimes against humanity are saying is becoming a textbook case of genocide?

02:01 Are we going to allow that to unfold in front of us?

02:04 How many Palestinian deaths is enough?
