00:00 You don't look like you sound.
00:01 You do.
00:02 I remember working with him like it was yesterday.
00:07 It has been almost 20 years and I was quite young,
00:09 but that's not an experience that one forgets.
00:13 She and my daughter went to school together.
00:15 You know, they were both at NYU,
00:17 so I stayed in touch vicariously,
00:21 if that's the right way of saying it.
00:23 And she's obviously a great talent.
00:25 'Cause she was bringing it.
00:26 She knows how to hit the ball back over the net.
00:28 You kill him?
00:30 I look like a guy who kills people.
00:32 I'm warming to the possibility.
00:34 [laughs]
00:36 Touchette.
00:38 Like it or not, you're a person of interest.
00:40 I'm an interesting person.
00:42 It was very interesting working with him again the second time.
00:45 My body felt the same feeling that I remember feeling
00:48 all of those years ago, which is excitement
00:51 and a little bit of nerves
00:53 and wanting to be as prepared as possible.
00:56 When Dakota Fanning and Denzel came together
00:59 for the first couple scenes that we were shooting,
01:02 you could feel the energy there because of their history.
01:06 He definitely is an actor that keeps you
01:09 on your toes constantly
01:11 and you are forced to be very present.
01:15 He's known to add a different line in there
01:19 or do something that's not in the script,
01:21 so I was already prepared for that this time around.
01:24 When Denzel did go off book, Dakota is so accomplished
01:28 that she'll toss it back
01:30 and they have this witty repartee going.
01:32 It's some of the most fun scenes in the movie.
01:34 (explosion)
