00:00 These projects are about delivering top-end facilities for local councils so that local

00:08 communities can get out, exercise, have fun, kids can socialise, everyone can keep fit.

00:14 You know, that's a win-win. I fundraise the money and try and help work alongside councils

00:19 to deliver these projects but invariably the councils get in their own way. They don't

00:24 want to do these projects. Now that could be because it's a different approach but all

00:29 I'm trying to do is deliver good projects for communities that are community-driven.

00:34 And over and again I think there's four or five local councils that have said no and

00:38 I've raised £800,000 over the last few years of which a couple of hundred grand has been

00:44 used for the Swanley project. Locally, just down the road here, we had a project lined

00:49 up, £200,000 on the table, funded by funders and the council said no at the last minute.

00:56 We had 10% of the village supporting it and yeah, the council just killed the project.
