Bruce Willis's daughter opens up about his dementia

Speaking on the Drew Barrymore show, Bruce Willis' daughter Tallula opened up about the actor's dementia.

00:04 form of dementia that's very rare.

00:06 Why did you guys decide to be so open about that?

00:09 Well, I think it's twofold.

00:10 I think on one hand, it's who we are as a family,

00:13 but also it's really important for us

00:15 to spread awareness about FTD because it's--

00:19 There's not enough information out there.

00:21 We had no idea.

00:22 And to advance and use, and again,

00:26 it's like the bigger version of what I'm trying to do.

00:29 If we can take something that we're struggling with

00:31 as a family and individually,

00:34 to help other people, to turn it around,

00:39 to make something beautiful about it,

00:42 that's really special for us.
