00:03 so we went to Twitter and Instagram

00:05 and asked all of our followers,

00:06 if you could ask Elon Musk one question,

00:08 what would it be?

00:10 Let's go.

00:10 How do you become a meme lord on Twitter?

00:12 - Well, you have to have great skill and talent, of course,

00:15 but I think, fundamentally, a meme lord is born

00:17 and not made.

00:18 Came out of the womb that way.

00:20 - So what planet are you really from?

00:22 - I'm from Mars.

00:24 - Are hot dogs sandwiches?

00:26 - No.

00:26 (laughing)

00:30 What advice would you give your younger self

00:32 if you could go back?

00:33 - I've made many mistakes along the way,

00:34 so be very careful with who you work with.

00:38 If somebody can have great ability but not a good heart,

00:41 it will not be, do not work with them.

00:42 It's not a good idea.

00:44 - When is Tesla ever coming to Africa?

00:46 - Well, technically, we do sell Powerwalls in South Africa.

00:49 I think probably next year.

00:51 - Is there some way we could get exhaust sounds

00:53 on an electric car?

00:54 - Yes, you can download them on your phone

00:56 and then play them while driving.

00:58 - What's your favorite ice cream?

00:59 - I guess Ben and Jerry's Coquito ice cream.

01:04 - It's pretty damn amazing.

01:05 - Why not hydrogen?

01:06 - Oh God, not that again.

01:09 A fuel cell, fundamentally, cannot compete with a battery.

01:12 The constant complexity of a fuel cell system

01:15 is far greater than a battery system.
