Emmanuel College principal Peter Morgan welcomes the arrival of the new school crossing over busy Raglan PArade.

00:00 So we've been waiting for years for this crossing to be installed and it's an asset for Warrnambool

00:05 and it's a great addition to the highway here and given its proximity to the school.

00:13 We're really pleased that it will increase the safety of our young people here as they

00:17 cross the road to and from school and I think it's a great outcome of the community push,

00:26 the community approach to council and the government bodies to see this introduced or

00:34 implemented here on the highway which is an incredibly busy space both morning and night.

00:41 The volume of traffic that's here, it's very much overdue and we're so pleased to see.
