01:51 On Monday, Salma Hayek mourned the death of her former Fools Rush In co-star on Instagram,
01:57 writing,
01:58 "Two days ago I woke up to the shocking news that Matthew Perry is no longer with
02:02 us.
02:03 It's taken me a couple of days to process this profound sadness.
02:07 There is a special bond that happens when you share dreams with someone and together
02:11 you work towards them.
02:13 I was very moved last year when Matthew shared on his Instagram stories how much he loved
02:17 Fools Rush In and how he thought that film we did together was possibly his best movie."
02:24 Salma and Matthew starred in the 1997 comedy that followed two strangers who had a one-night
02:29 stand in Las Vegas that resulted in a pregnancy.
02:33 Following the film, the two stayed in touch and Salma says they often look back at their
02:37 successful careers, writing,
02:40 "Throughout the years, he and I found ourselves reminiscing about that meaningful time in
02:44 our lives with a deep sense of nostalgia and gratitude.
02:48 My friend, you are gone much too soon, but I will continue to cherish your silliness,
02:53 your perseverance, your lovely heart.
02:56 Farewell, sweet Matthew.
02:57 We will never forget you."
03:00 Gwyneth Paltrow took to Instagram on Sunday to honor Matthew, writing,
03:03 "I met Matthew Perry in 1993 at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts.

03:20 of long grass," she wrote, adding,
03:23 "It was a magical summer.
03:25 He had shot the pilot of Friends, but it had not aired yet.

03:54 Brokenhearted.
03:55 Sweet dreams, Matty.
03:57 Sweet dreams."

04:07 A lifetime, really.
04:08 I know many are hurting, especially our little gang.

04:45 what he did for me."
