Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday shared the video of his recent meeting with former J&K governor Satya Pal Malik who spoke to Rahul Gandhi on several issues including the Pulwama attack, the J&K situation, Adani and also going back to his earliest days in politics. Rahul said in the conversation that I think there is a fight between two ideologies in Indian politics, one Gandhian and the other RSS. In response to this question, Satyapal Malik said, I think that India will survive as a country only when it follows the path of liberal Hinduism, which was Gandhi’s ideology. 00:00 Whenever there is a pressure on the government, like caste census, Adani, MSP, farmers, they
00:11 come up with some gimmick.
00:13 And now I saw that when I gave the speech on Adani in the parliament, first they turned
00:19 off the TV, then they removed me from the parliament.
00:23 And then we spoke about the special session, then we spoke about India-India discussion,
00:33 and then at the end we spoke about the women's bill.
00:35 And the women's bill was such that it would come in 10 years, but it never came.
00:40 So this method of theirs, whether it is Pulwama or the women's bill, their method of distracting
00:50 is very effective.
00:51 There are two or three things about the Prime Minister.
00:54 First, he makes any event, small things, and uses them in his favour.
01:04 He did the same with the women's bill.
01:05 Women are not getting anything, and he made them realise how big a job they have done.
01:11 The show is a very grand show.
01:14 Like when they were going to the new parliament building, they held the constitution in their
01:19 hands, and they were not bothered about the drama.
01:21 They didn't need a new building, but they wanted to show that they had built a parliament.
01:28 But he does everything in the same way, like a megalomaniac.
01:34 Like, there is an old house, if you want to expand it, then put Lok Sabha in the central
01:40 hall, put Rajya Sabha in Lok Sabha.
01:43 Done.
01:44 Done?
01:45 I mean, in the central hall.
01:46 That building will last for hundreds of years.
01:49 So, if you want a central hall, then put a central hall in NXC.
01:56 So, there was no problem, but by creating a problem, by showing it, it is a big loss
02:04 to the country.
02:05 It is a loss, but the good thing is that people are understanding it.
02:09 If people don't understand it, then it is a problem.
02:12 People are understanding everything.
02:14 I go to the bottom, and they are saying that, sir, you don't have to do this, it is like
02:21 that.
02:22 And actually, when I listen to their speeches and see their policies, there is no depth.
02:29 They don't go into detail.
02:31 There is no need.
02:33 You just have to rule it.
02:35 You don't have to make any improvements, you don't have to make any changes.
02:39 You just have to rule it, as they say in a very crude language, "sada raj hai, raj karna hai".
02:45 That's all.
02:46 And they don't even feel the kind of response that they are getting from the public.
02:51 You spoke very bravely about Pulwama, you spoke about Adani.
02:56 I spoke about the farmers.
02:58 You spoke about the farmers.
03:00 So, you were threatened, the CBI started an inquiry, everything started.
03:04 Their entire system started.
03:06 You will be surprised.
03:08 The law is that the complainant is not punished.
03:13 I complained to those who did, they have not been interrogated yet.
03:18 They came to me three times, took the phones of my staff, CBI people.
03:23 I said, "You do something, you cannot do anything to me.
03:26 I am a Fakir, I have nothing."
03:28 So, they got fed up.
03:30 But I had to do it.
03:31 Then they used to say, "Sir, we are doing a job."
03:34 They used to say the same to me.
03:36 We are being oppressed, we have to do it.
03:39 There is nothing in it.
03:41 They are also forced.
03:43 They are also forced, what can we do?
03:45 We are talking, so after this, we will also attack you a little.
03:49 Whenever we talk to someone, the attack starts immediately.
