00:00 Today we currently still have 60 current active fires.
00:05 As you're well aware, we've been fighting more than 100 vegetation fires across the
00:09 state already this week.
00:12 And as the conditions are prevailing, certainly the very high to extreme fire danger conditions
00:20 are still continuing.
00:21 Today, 130 QFES vehicles are in attendance at a range of incidents across those 60 fires.
00:31 And conditions are still remaining hot, dry, windy, and areas of very high and extreme
00:36 in small pockets are still being experienced.
00:39 And the forecast, of course, is again for tomorrow for the same.
00:44 We've got a range of fire weather forecasts that are issuing for tomorrow.
00:50 Again, fire weathers across a range of areas, including Central West, the North West, Channel
00:57 Country, Maranoa, Warrego into tomorrow.
01:02 Bushfire warnings remain in place for several fires, and the community have been doing a
01:08 great job in following these advice that we're providing.
01:13 It's very important that people who have left the areas in those bushfire affected areas
01:19 do not return until we advise them to do so and that it is safe to do so.
01:24 As you well appreciate, whilst we're still fighting the fires, we have not yet had time
01:29 to do the necessary access and egress safety issues around the current fire situation as
01:35 it stands at the moment.
01:38 If we'd encourage certainly people that are not from that area and not directly impacted
01:44 by fire, if they would please don't be complacent, make sure that they have considered doing
01:50 a bushfire readiness, bushfire plan, make sure they've got their preparations in place.
01:58 And certainly there's a lot of great information on the Get Ready Queensland website if they
02:03 need some help with that.
02:07 As you well appreciate, a heartfelt thanks needs to go to our tireless firefighters,
02:12 both permanent staff and part-time staff and our volunteers that have been working around
02:18 the clock during these arduous times.
02:21 And they're working of course to try and keep our community safe.
