5 microfinance institutions at 20 microentrepreneurs, pinarangalan sa 2nd Digital Financial Inclusion Awards

00:05 BSP recognized some of the microfinance institutions and microentrepreneurs in the 2nd Digital Financial Inclusion Awards.

00:17 The Bank of Central Philippines' company is continuously working to promote digitalization when it comes to financial transactions.

00:27 Just like the microfinance institutions and microentrepreneurs for their operations and transactions to their clients.

00:34 In this context, some of them were recognized in the 2nd Digital Financial Inclusion Awards.

00:39 The DFIA is a financial inclusion program funded by the City Foundation,

00:44 where the Microfinance Council of the Philippines is a group of microfinance institutions in the country,

00:49 and it is supported by BSP.

00:51 The 5 microfinance institutions and 20 microentrepreneurs from different parts of the country were recognized here.

00:58 The digital solutions they adopted range from e-commerce, social media marketing, and use of e-wallets.

01:09 Aside from BSP, 50% of the total volume of retail payments will be digital,

01:14 and 70% of the Filipino adults will be included in the former financial system.

01:18 In 2022, the share of digital payment transactions will be 42%.

01:22 The account ownership of 2021 will be 56%, and in 2022, it will be 65% of the household.

01:30 Yes, we are gaining ground, but there is still so much more work to do.
