00:04 week the much anticipated competition between Eric and Ridge will begin.

00:10 There's been plenty of build up and there will be plenty of surprises too and special

00:14 guests.

00:15 So stay tuned for this fun fashion event which will feature crossovers from the Young and

00:19 the Restless with Lauren and Esther, as well as Murray Osmond playing the Countess.

00:25 The Fashion Showdown starts later this week so get ready.

00:29 Also this week, Katie learns about Eric's secret.

00:33 And plenty of excitement and revelations are in store so let's get started with the spoilers.

00:38 On Monday, RJ's dilemma of not betraying Eric or telling Ridge the truth intensifies.

00:45 Ridge is convinced he's going to win the Fashion Showdown and RJ it seems will be compelled

00:50 to tell his father the truth and might mention that even though this is just a competition

00:54 to Ridge it means much more to Eric because this could be his last.

00:59 RJ will be compelled to tell his dad the truth when he's pressed by Brooke and Ridge but

01:04 it looks like RJ will continue to keep the secret.

01:08 Eric could be dealing with a terminal illness but we don't know for sure.

01:12 This week though we'll get the diagnosis and it sounds like it's pretty grim.

01:16 Speaking of that, on Monday, Katie learns of Eric's heartbreaking diagnosis.

01:21 Katie will learn Eric's secret.

01:23 Here's what happens, Katie will arrive at the mansion and she'll notice something is

01:27 off with Eric and Donna.

01:29 Katie will leave though but she'll end up coming back after forgetting her phone.

01:34 When Katie walks in she'll overhear Eric and Donna's conversation and that's when Eric

01:38 and Donna will come clean to Katie.

01:40 It looks like we'll learn exactly what Eric's diagnosis is and what he's facing but it sounds

01:45 pretty grim.

01:47 Katie will be devastated too but she'll keep the secret as per Eric's wishes.

01:52 So Katie will now become part of the growing number of people who know about Eric's condition.

01:57 The truth is bound to come out soon too though for Ridge knowing about it and Brooke too.

02:04 On Tuesday, Brooke puts Carter on the spot about whose side he's on.

02:08 Carter and Ridge are best friends but Carter is grateful to Eric too for giving him his

02:12 big break with the company.

02:14 So we'll see what Carter tells Brooke.

02:17 And the excitement of the fashion showdown builds as Eric and Ridge both vow to win.

02:22 The fashion showdown is set to start on Friday but before that there will be plenty more

02:26 build up with special guests arriving.

02:28 And it'll happen on Wednesday when Lauren Fenmore arrives in Los Angeles for the biggest

02:33 fashion event of the year with a guest in tow, Esther Valentine.

02:37 Lauren and Esther hit LA for a five episode stint and a crossover from the Young and the

02:42 Restless.

02:43 Look for Esther and Charlie too to share some scenes together so expect some hijinks and

02:48 some laughs.

02:49 Lauren will be there as a buyer for Fenmore's and she has a long history with the Forrester's.

02:55 But Lauren won't let sentimentality get in the way of business.

02:58 Spoilers say Lauren will be interested in the collection that is the best fit for her

03:02 company and she'll base her decision on that.

03:06 Eric and Ridge are competing and will let the buyers decide based on their orders and

03:10 winner takes all.

03:11 Lauren won't take sides between Eric and Ridge and she'll wish them both luck with the adage

03:16 may the best man's collection win.

03:19 The fashion showdown kicks off on Friday so stay tuned.

03:22 Also Wednesday, Katie urges Donna to tell the Forrester's the secret she's been keeping.

03:27 Katie now knows that Eric is dealing with a health crisis.

03:31 And Katie will encourage Donna to try and convince Eric to come clean to Ridge and the

03:35 rest of the family.

03:36 It doesn't look like that will happen though, at least not before the fashion showdown.

03:41 RJ knows and so does Luna but they're keeping the secret for Eric.

03:45 And on Thursday, RJ becomes emotional when Eric finally discloses his prognosis.

03:49 We'll have to see this week how serious it is.

03:52 We know Eric has been coughing up blood and dealing with tremors with his hands shaking.

03:58 Eric isn't able to draw and design and RJ has been helping him and the two have been

04:02 working together as a team.

04:04 Stay tuned this week for some compelling drama when Eric discloses what he's dealing with

04:08 to RJ.

04:09 And on Friday, the day for the big competition arrives.

04:13 Eric and Ridge share a moment as the fashion showdown begins.

04:17 Father and son are competing but look for them to share a bonding moment together before

04:21 the festivities start.

04:23 And Katie explains the rules of the competition to an elite group of guests.

04:28 Katie now realizes too how important this line is to Eric, his grand finale which could

04:33 be his last.

04:34 Katie will introduce the fashion showdown so she'll be battling her emotions when she

04:39 announces the event.

04:40 We'll have to see if and when Ridge and the others learn the truth but they'll have to

04:44 eventually.

04:45 Future spoilers say Brooke makes a startling realization.

04:50 This is probably about Eric's health crisis and one idea suggests Brooke could find Eric

04:54 unconscious.

04:55 So we'll have to see if that happens.

04:58 This could be the way Brooke finds out so we'll have to see if this happens.

05:03 Future spoilers also say Steffi surprises Finn by returning home from Europe.

05:09 So we'll see Steffi soon the following week.

05:11 We saw Liam too the other day leave Steffi that message, telling her about Sheila and

05:16 Deacon and also telling her to come home but not to Finn, to him, Liam.

05:21 Liam told himself he and Steffi were married once and they can do it again.

05:25 Liam wants that reunion with Steffi so look for this story to heat up.

05:29 But Friday the big event will arrive and we'll also see Marie Osmond as the Countess von Frankfurt.

05:35 So we'll get to meet the noble lady.

05:37 Wait for the Countess to be around for several episodes.

05:40 Also Paris and Zenday will be there as well so it'll be good to catch up with them.

05:45 Also this week look for more scenes with Luna's mother Poppy.

05:48 We saw Lee tell Finn about the family's scandal about Poppy's affair with a doctor and how

05:52 it hurt Lee's career at the time.

05:55 There's a lot of bad blood that Lee has for Poppy and Lee wants Luna, Poppy's daughter,

05:59 to leave Forrester Creations and Los Angeles.

06:02 Also Luna has RJ on her side and he and Luna stood up to Lee so we'll see if Lee will back

06:08 down or double down.

06:10 So stay tuned.

06:11 But Lee is also trying to provoke Sheila now so there could be plenty more confrontations

06:16 to come between them.

06:18 There's a lot of exciting action around the corner.

06:20 But this is the big week.
