00:00 >> You've been playing probably a little bit more on the outside the last couple
00:02 of weeks than you were to start the season.
00:04 How has that gone, just in general, the second there today?
00:06 How do you think you guys played?
00:08 >> I think we played very well.
00:10 Well, not very well.
00:11 We didn't really give up any touchdowns, so that's a good part of it.
00:15 I've been playing outside more, yeah.
00:18 I feel comfortable there.
00:19 That's where I've been playing for two years.
00:21 And so I just feel comfortable at corner.
00:24 >> How tough is it to, you guys talk about plastering on your guys for
00:27 a long time with the way Ward can run around.
00:29 You've seen him now a couple of times at a couple of different schools.
00:32 How difficult is that and the challenge he presents?
00:35 >> It's as difficult as you make it, really.
00:37 Just have your eyes on your man.
00:38 But it can be difficult when you're locking up a guy and
00:43 then you kind of look back at the end of the route and he's still running around.
00:46 And then you have to, then the receivers start just making up stuff.
00:49 So it's kind of hard, but just keep our eyes on our man and we'll be all right.
00:52 >> Is there anything you guys saw that allowed you to adjust and
00:55 be more successful as the game went on?
00:57 >> I feel like we weren't playing to our standard.
01:00 So I feel like that's what we had to adjust to was playing to our standard and
01:03 came out and we just bought.
01:05 >> Who were you gonna, like going into the game,
01:09 you knew that he was gonna get his, like they throw the ball as much as they do.
01:12 So how are you gonna feel like you had a successful game,
01:14 a defense that was a successful game beyond winning?
01:17 Like was it holding them to a certain yardage,
01:19 holding one of the receivers to a certain yardage, or just more?
01:21 The little stuff like technique and fundamentals because they said they're
01:24 gonna get some yards.
01:25 I feel like all we can do is rely on our technique and just have fun out there
01:29 because at the end of the day, stuff is gonna happen.
01:31 So it just depends on how you take it, how your mindset is.
01:34 And we weren't really trying to do anything specific, but just play with your
01:39 technique and trust the call and play the call, play every down and
01:42 we should be good, win 50/50 balls and all that type of stuff.
