00:29 My name's Amy Harbour and I've been organizing the centenary Flying Scotsman.
00:33 Flying Scotsman is the world's most famous locomotive, and
00:38 it was built in Yorkshire in Doncaster in 1923.
00:42 Since February 2023, we at the National Railway Museum have been celebrating
00:47 with Flying Scotsman all across the UK, 100 years of this iconic locomotive.
00:53 The locomotive has been to Scotland, Wales, England,
00:56 both heritage railways and been out on the tracks.
01:00 Many people have been out to see this locomotive this year.
01:02 It's just so famous.
01:05 But now, October half term, the locomotive Flying Scotsman is back in York.
01:11 It's back at the National Railway Museum for you to come and visit her.
01:15 So this morning, the workshop team has moved Flying Scotsman from outside.
01:20 Flying Scotsman arrived with us at the weekend after its latest excursion
01:24 out on the tracks.
01:26 The locomotive has been gently cooling down, had a little zhuzh,
01:31 a little polish, a little clean, and ready to be moved in this morning
01:36 to go on the turntable for display.
