00:02 - Put in by Tatum!
00:06 (crowd cheering)
00:09 Oh, Jimmy fricking Butler puts it in!

00:14 - Indian Lillard going to the Milwaukee Bucks.
00:22 This is a massive deal that happened in September
00:25 that really shakes up the East.
00:27 Lillard, obviously, all-star, tremendous player,
00:29 future Hall of Famer.
00:31 Offensively, absolutely this is going to help them.
00:33 You now have Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo together
00:36 and two of them could average 60 points per game
00:39 on the season.
00:40 It's an incredible big two offensively.
00:42 We've not seen a duo average 60 points together
00:44 since James Harden and Russell Westbrook did it
00:46 with the Rockets in the 2019 and 2020 season.
00:49 I think this could be a really fun offensive team to watch.
00:53 I think there's a strong chance
00:54 that they could win the East here.
00:56 Winning it all though, I'm not so sure yet.
00:58 I think Lillard makes more sense on the Heat.
01:02 He becomes the number one scoring option.
01:04 They're likely a better team defensively than the Bucks.
01:07 Overall, it makes a lot of sense.
01:10 Yes, the Miami Heat did reach the NBA Finals last year,
01:13 but it had to play its best basketball to get there.
01:16 Can they take what they did in the playoffs and build on it?
01:19 My guess says no.
01:20 Kyle Lowry is an aging veteran.
01:22 He's good, but I do have concerns
01:25 if they really want to make it deep with that back work there.
01:28 I expect them to make the playoffs,
01:30 but without a guy like Damian Lillard,
01:31 I don't think they'll make it back to the NBA Finals.
01:34 I like the additions of Brzingis and Drew Holiday,
01:39 but they did have to give up a lot for that.
01:41 Maybe too much, because there's going to be
01:43 a quite different team that we've seen
01:45 with these past Celtics teams.
01:47 Boston did have the depth to get these two,
01:49 and the idea of relying on the depth to compete
01:52 has really led them to zero NBA titles
01:54 and not as much success as they would have liked
01:57 in the NBA playoffs.
01:59 I do think this is the best team in the East.
02:01 I think they are better than the Bucs.
02:03 They won 57 games last season,
02:04 and I think they've added more talent here.
02:06 I think this team could win 60 games and win the East.
02:09 76ers have some struggles too.
02:15 James Harden over the summer said
02:17 he doesn't really want to play with the team.
02:19 They retain a similar roster from last year,
02:21 although the key addition here is Nick Nurse,
02:23 who led the Raptors to their first NBA title back in 2019.
02:27 He has a lot of things to handle.
02:29 Luckily, he still has Joel Embiid, the MVP.
02:32 I don't know if that's going to be the overall factor.
02:35 I still think they need one more piece
02:36 to really go past some of the Bucs
02:39 and the Celtics in the East, but anything can happen.
