The priority section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) Corridor will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. He will flag off a RAPIDX train connecting Sahibabad and Duhai Depot, marking the launch of the RRTS in India. The 17-km long priority section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor will connect Sahibabad to Duhai Depot through stations at Ghaziabad, Guldhar and Duhai.

00:51 the maximum fare is set at Rs. 50.
00:54 The premium coach's minimum fare will be Rs. 40 and the maximum is Rs. 100.

01:06 With an operational speed of 160 km/hr, these fully air-conditioned Rapid X-trains will
01:13 have a host of commuter-centric features for a regional commutee like ergonomically designed
01:19 2x2 transverse seating, wide standing space, luggage racks, CCTV cameras, laptop or mobile
01:25 charging facility, dynamic route maps, auto-control ambient lighting system, heating ventilation,
01:32 air conditioning system and other amenities.
01:35 The Rapid X-trains will be operational from 6 am to 11 pm.
01:39 Trains will operate at a frequency of 15 minutes.
01:41 Each coach has the capacity to carry about 1,700 commuters.
01:46 Like the Delhi Metro coaches, one coach on every Rapid X-train is reserved for women,
01:51 which is next to the premium coach.
01:52 Also, there are seats reserved for women, specially abled and senior citizens in every
01:57 coach.
01:58 The premium coach of the train will have a host of additional commuter-centric features
02:02 like reclining seats, coat hooks, magazine holders and footrests.
02:07 The first coach moving towards Meerut from Delhi and the last coach moving towards Delhi
02:12 from Meerut will be the premium coach.
02:14 An attendant will be deputed in each train who will play an important role in acquainting
02:19 the commuters with the facilities available.
02:21 They will be stationed in the premium coach and will assist the commuters there.
02:25 Commuters can choose a QR code-based one-time ticket or a card-based transit option for
02:30 all journeys.
02:31 The paper QR code-based ticket can be generated via ticket vending machines or brought from
02:36 ticket counters.
02:37 The TVMs will be UPI enabled.
02:40 Full attention and care has been given to the security, health and well-being of the
02:44 commuters as well.
02:45 A first aid facility is available at all RapidX stations.
02:49 For any medical emergency, an ambulance service can also be arranged.
02:52 A lost and found centre is dedicatedly established in RapidX to deal in lost and found articles.
03:00 Any lost item can be collected from the same station within 24 hours.
03:04 The Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force and the Central Industrial Security Force will
