'90s British-Norwegian boy band A1 recently held a successful two-night concert in Manila.

During their press conference before their show, the four-man boy band expressed their appreciation of what is happening now to their career.

Member Ben Adams confessed that back in their heydays in the 1990s, they did not have the luxury of taking in the moment of their popularity or what they were doing. They were more concerned with how they would come up with chart-topping hits. It was all work for them.

"Now we don't have to worry so much about pressure. Now we just feel so grateful that here we are 25 years later still doing this. You just kinda appreciate everything, the opportunity," Ben said.

00:00 Well, I mean, we get the opportunity to actually appreciate what we do now a lot more than
00:07 we did back in the day, because as we expressed previously, we didn't have time. We were really
00:14 caught up in whirlwind back in those days, and every single moment of our days, of our
00:18 weeks, of our months, were scheduled for us. And we were just caught up in that whirlwind,
00:22 but we didn't really take the moment to breathe it all in and just soak in what was going
00:28 on. And we were having a fantastic time. It was incredible what we were all achieving
00:33 together, but we were so concerned with, "Oh, I wonder what number in the charts this song
00:38 is going to go to. I wonder what number the next song is going to go to." And it was always
00:43 - all of our focus was on that. Now we don't have quite so much of that pressure on our
00:47 shoulders. Now we just feel so grateful that here we are 25 years later still doing this.
00:53 So actually, you just kind of appreciate everything. You appreciate every opportunity you get.
00:58 Now when we put on another show in Manila, and then we're told that the first night it's
01:03 sold out, and then we're going to do another one, that just fills us up. That's just the
01:07 most amazing thing. And we never take that for granted. We really, truly do appreciate
01:12 it, and we appreciate everyone that has afforded us that opportunity, all of our fans that
01:16 have given us the opportunity to still get to do that. So you're just going to get a
01:21 massive resounding amount of gratitude from us as a band nowadays, because it's just
01:27 awesome that we're still here doing this. So yeah, that's my take on it. You want to
01:33 add anything to that?
01:35 Thank you.
01:36 Alright.
01:37 Any questions?
01:38 Thank you.
01:39 Thank you so much.
01:40 Thank you.
01:41 Thank you.
01:43 Thank you.
