Wigan Warriors captain Liam Farrell hailed his former teammate Sam Tomkins following Warriors' 10-2 Super League Grand Final win over Catalans Dragons at Old Trafford.

00:10 career, one where he was dancing around players when he was 19, 20 and the back end of his

00:14 career where he's completely changed his game and used his head a little bit more. I think

00:19 he's just been an absolutely fabulous player. His desire to win, his commitment to his cause

00:24 and his team is outstanding. One of the first things I did after the final whistle went

00:29 and was going to give an hug just because such a competitor I know would be devastated

00:32 that he's lost. But he deserved to go out on the greatest stage and that was tonight.

00:38 He's built for these kind of games and I'm just so proud. I've been a big part of his

00:43 career, we've known each other since he was 12, 13 and to be a part of his career and

00:46 him finishing that, I'm grateful to be a part of it.
