00:00 The desire to bounce back is certainly there, we just need to see the Cowboys now actually bounce back.
00:05 And focus on the focus. The 49ers have nothing to do with you now. I mean, they're laughing at you.
00:11 Your job now is to go back on national TV. Now it's Monday Night Football.
00:16 It's at SoFi in Los Angeles, a gigantic national stage against a scary, I don't know if they're a good Chargers team,
00:22 but they're a scary Chargers team. You better get your head screwed on on that West Coast team, not that West Coast team.
00:29 Speaking of the Chargers, what do you think the Cowboys need to do to beat their former offensive coordinator, Kellen Moore?
00:35 They are very vulnerable, the Chargers are, defensively. So this is an opportunity for Dak Prescott and the Texas Coast Offense.
00:42 By the way, we're not selling very many Texas Coast Offense t-shirts right about now,
00:46 nor are we selling very many Dallas Doomsday t-shirts right about now in the Uncle Fish store.
00:51 It does feel like everything has been deflated here at the start.
00:54 I would say that's true. In fact, a sidebar before we get to the Chargers and Kellen Moore.
00:59 And this is true in a lot of NFL cities, I'm sure, but it's historically been discussed here.
01:04 The Monday after a Cowboys loss, and you've lived here long enough now, there is a, I don't mean to use depression in the clinical sense,
01:15 there is a state of depression that falls over DFW. Businesses don't run as crisply.
01:22 Guys that are supposed to open their shops at 9 come straggling in at 9.20. Oil and gas doesn't fly around. It really doesn't.
01:32 Certainly the Jersey sells slow down.
01:34 Not to mention Cowboy related business. So, yeah, there is a cloud hanging over this building, the star in Frisco.
01:41 There really is. It's not a black cloud, but there it is. I mean, it's cloudy.
01:45 Yeah, Kellen Moore will obviously be inspired. No question about that.
01:52 And he's coming off a bye week, so you've got to imagine he's had all the time to rest.
01:55 Extra practice and extra rest. Now, more inspired than the Cowboys?
01:59 Maybe, shouldn't the Cowboys be inspired to go beat him too?
02:02 You know.
02:03 So, I sometimes, it's kind of like bulletin board material. Does it fire you up to go lift weights on Wednesday? Yes.
02:11 Does it fire you up to watch film on Thursday? Yes. Does it really help you win on Sunday?
02:16 Once the game starts, are you really thinking about what some guy said back on Wednesday?
02:20 I think that. I think once the game starts, Kellen Moore will do the same, his best, that he does every week.
02:27 And the Cowboys ought to be doing the same, their best, as they do every week.
02:32 But yes, Jerome Kerr said this. He said he's probably chomping at the bit to come get us.
02:37 But we're chomping at the bit to go play somebody again too and prove that what happened last week isn't the real us.
02:43 And since Moore's taken over play calling for the Chargers, they've gone from 18th in total offense to 5th in the league.
02:49 So what he's doing is obviously working.
02:51 (upbeat music)
