00:00 It's mid-morning in the Middle East now. John Lyons joins us from Israel. John, is there

00:06 any further sign of the next step in Israel's response?

00:11 Jeremy, Israel is clearly preparing for the possibility of a ground war with Gaza. In

00:18 fact, I think it could be as early as this weekend. They have recalled 360,000 army reservists

00:24 who have all turned up now, reported for work, and along that border with Gaza, they are

00:29 amassing those troops, those tanks and artillery. Meanwhile, on the northern border, they are

00:34 also preparing for the possibility that Hezbollah may try to take advantage of this crisis.

00:39 There has been skirmishing across that border, so they are preparing for the possibility,

00:44 the Israeli army, of fighting on two fronts. And in Gaza, meanwhile, last night was the

00:50 first night it was blacked out. The power has been cut and the Israelis have stopped

00:55 any food or water or medicines going in. So there is a humanitarian crisis looming there.
