Rebecca Loos Reacts To David Beckham Affair Allegation Critics

00:18 during his new Netflix documentary Beckham in early October.

00:22 On October 1st, Rebecca posted a photo of herself doing a yoga pose on Instagram

00:27 and captioned it "Hello October, letting go and finding strength in the mountains of life."

00:33 People flooded her comments section on the post to weigh in on whether or not

00:37 they thought the infidelity was true, sparking a response from Rebecca.

00:42 "If it wasn't true then they would have sued for defamation," one person wrote.

00:47 The 46-year-old seemingly supported that notion with a cryptic response,

00:52 mentioning the commenter and adding a praying hands emoji.

00:55 While another fan called out the haters, saying the comments on Rebecca's post were "disgusting"

01:01 and she seemed to agree again, responding,

01:04 "Thank you. Am taking in the nasty comments with as much humor as I can."

01:09 In the documentary, the soccer legend breaks his silence on the accusations that he had

01:14 the affair while playing in Spain for Real Madrid after transferring from Manchester United.

01:20 "When I first moved to Spain, it was difficult because I'd been part of a club and a family for

01:36 my whole career from the age of 15 to I was 27 years old. I get sold overnight.

01:46 The next minute I am in a city, I don't speak the language. More importantly, I didn't have my

01:54 family." His wife also speaks out on the alleged infidelity and opens up about the pain she felt

02:01 at the time. "You know, up until Madrid, sometimes it felt like us against everybody else. But we

02:12 were together, we were connected, we had each other. But when we were in Spain, it didn't really

02:18 feel like we had each other either. And that's sad. I can't even begin to tell you how hard it was

02:27 and how it affected me." "You know, every time that we woke up, we felt, you know, there was

02:37 something else. And, you know, we felt that, I think we both felt at the time that we were

02:42 not losing each other, but drowning. Victoria is everything to me.

02:49 To see her hurt is incredibly difficult. But

03:02 we're fighters. And at that time, we needed to fight for each other. We needed to fight

03:08 for our family." The couple have previously denied the claims against David, but Victoria

03:14 admitted in the four-part series that back then she began to resent her husband. "If I'm being

03:20 totally honest, yes, I did. It was probably, if I'm being honest, the most unhappy I have ever been

03:26 in my entire life. It wasn't that I felt unheard because I chose to internalize a lot of it because

03:36 I was always mindful of the focus that he needed." The 48-year-old pro didn't hold back when

03:43 explaining how the bombshell reports impacted him. "There were some days that I would wake up and

03:48 think, 'How am I going to go to work? How am I going to walk onto that training pitch? How am

03:52 I going to look as if nothing's wrong?' I felt physically sick every day when I opened my eyes.

04:00 How am I going to do this?" The pair fought for their marriage and are still together after 24

04:05 years with four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. In another vulnerable moment caught

04:11 on camera, Victoria reacts to the news that David had to miss the birth of their youngest son

04:16 for a photo shoot with Beyonce and JLo. "You've got a damn photo shoot with Jennifer Lopez,

04:22 who is gorgeous and not about to have a baby. So I had my C-section and I remember lying there.

05:31 red carpet and he reflected on his latest project. "Congratulations on the documentary. It really

05:37 shows one of the many reasons why you're so successful is your incredible resilience. In

05:44 your own words, what do you put that down to? Where do you get it from?"

05:48 "My parents, simple as that. I came from an East End family working class that worked hard. My dad

05:56 still worked when he was 72, 73 years old. My mum was still cutting hair when she was 70 years old.

06:05 So I come from a really working class, humble background. And the resilience has just, I assume,

06:12 come from my parents, my grandparents, because there were difficult times. There were difficult

06:18 times over the years."

06:44 "What was the most challenging thing for you to share honestly in this documentary?"

06:49 "I think there was many challenges. The challenge was going back over things. I think that I'd never

06:57 really thought about '98. And everything that happened to me in '98, I kind of just moved on

07:02 very quickly. Even though there was a lot of stuff going on around me, I was protected by

07:08 Manchester United, by my teammates, by Sir Alex Ferguson and by the Manchester United fans. So

07:13 going over '98 and seeing some of the footage and seeing some of the archive from that was really

07:19 tough."

07:20 "Has your family watched this?"

07:22 "We've seen little bits, but I wanted tonight to be the first time that we all sat there and all

07:29 watched it. I've seen a couple of the edits, but I really trusted the team. I really trusted

07:35 Netflix. I really trusted Fisher and John Battyk and Nicola Howson and Billy Shepard and our

07:41 amazing editor, Michael Hart. And I really trusted them. So I really wanted tonight to be really the

07:48 first time that I sat down and watched it fully graded, watched all of the music, all put in there.

07:52 So we'll see."

07:54 "I hope it goes well with your family. Your family is mentioned all the time because it's the

07:58 backbone to your success and your love. Of course, your family really started when you met Victoria,

08:03 but how did you manage to keep it under wraps? Because that's what our manager said, you were

08:09 already a really famous soccer stun and so was she."

08:12 "Well, I was just coming into obviously the fold at Manchester United and obviously Victoria was

08:18 the biggest star. She was obviously posh spice in the Spice Girls and world famous. So that was the

08:24 difficult part."

08:25 "How did you do it? Meeting in cars?"

08:28 "We're from, we're both from, you know, she's from Harlow, I'm from East London, I'm from,

08:35 you know, Chinkford, Leytonstone. So we just found a way of keeping it quiet. We met in car parks.

08:40 I drove down to London to see her on a day off."

08:43 "It worked."

08:44 "We sneaked around the back of the beefy car parks and sat with each other for hours."

08:50 "Any correlation with Taylor Swift because she's got a hankering for a sports person now?"

08:55 "No, as long as she's happy, that's the most important thing. You know, Taylor's such a

08:59 talented person. My daughter is a huge fan, my son's a huge fan. I think we're all huge fans.

09:06 But the most important thing is that she's happy and if she's happy, whatever she's doing,

09:10 that's the most important thing."
