00:00 This is the Britney.
00:02 Almost everything Britney that you can imagine,
00:04 albums, imports, rare versions of the albums, dolls.
00:08 I don't know exactly how much I've spent over the years,
00:10 but I know the value of the stuff
00:12 is definitely up there in the six figures.
00:14 I have had a few people that are like,
00:15 ew, why Britney?
00:16 And I'm like, why not?
00:19 Today I'm actually getting my fifth Britney tattoo.
00:22 Almost all of my tattoos are inspired by her in some way.
00:25 I'm scared.
00:28 But you know what?
00:29 I'm excited to get this tattoo.
00:30 Hi, I'm Zach.
00:35 Welcome to my house.
00:36 Let me show you guys around the Britney room.
00:38 This is the Britney room.
00:42 In here you'll find pretty much everything
00:44 she's ever released.
00:45 Every album, every record, every cassette, box sets,
00:50 posters, dolls, books, concert merch.
00:54 Anything Britney's ever put out, I pretty much have it all.
00:58 (air whooshing)
00:59 Growing up, I lived in Holmesville, Pennsylvania
01:02 with my parents, pretty normal childhood.
01:05 I actually do remember the first time I heard Britney.
01:07 It was when "Baby One More Time" came out.
01:09 And all I can remember, I remember hearing
01:12 the opening of it and I remember asking my mom
01:14 to turn it up.
01:16 My family has taken to my love of Britney Spears
01:19 since I was a child.
01:21 My mother was actually the one who first started
01:23 buying me Britney things.
01:24 And then I met my husband in 2013
01:27 and we hit it off because of Britney.
01:29 And I remember the first time I came over to his house
01:31 and I saw his Britney collection, it was like,
01:34 I'm in love.
01:35 Me and my husband do go shopping
01:36 for Britney stuff together.
01:37 We actually went to Las Vegas to see her in Vegas.
01:41 And we were the first two customers of the day
01:44 at the Britney store.
01:46 And we each dropped like $500, like right off the bat.
01:49 So we've got the cassettes up here,
01:51 almost every single album, some of the singles.
01:54 We've got, start with "Baby One More Time"
01:56 and "Because I'm OCD I've Got It in Chronological Order."
01:59 Got the fourth album and all the singles
02:01 and different Japanese versions.
02:03 And got the dolls up there.
02:06 When it first came out, this was the first one to come out.
02:08 And so they changed the face, as you can see,
02:09 it's different from the rest of them.
02:11 But she didn't like the face, so they changed it
02:13 and took these ones off the shelves.
02:16 This is my closet where I have over 50 pieces
02:19 of Britney clothing.
02:20 Anywhere from hoodies to t-shirts to,
02:24 I've got a hoodie that's actually modeled
02:28 after her toxic stewardess outfit.
02:31 This one is a little over the top.
02:33 Let me put on some Britney pieces I love.
02:36 I don't know exactly how much I've spent over the years,
02:38 being that it's been such a long span of time
02:41 that I've been buying Britney stuff.
02:43 But I know the value of the stuff
02:44 is definitely up there in the six figures.
02:46 One of my most valuable pieces is actually this tour book
02:48 that I'm about to get right now.
02:52 It was released for only one night during the circus tour.
02:55 It became a really hard to find collector's item.
02:58 And it goes for anywhere from $1,500 to $2,000 on eBay now,
03:03 because it was only sold for one night.
03:07 Rumor has it is that she didn't like a lot of the photos
03:10 that were in it, and she was actually the one
03:12 that told them to pull it.
03:14 I don't think I could ever auction any of my stuff.
03:17 A lot of it holds sentimental value,
03:19 like from being a gift from somebody.
03:21 And it just makes me happy, you know,
03:24 like coming in here and just hanging out for a while.
03:27 Today I'm actually getting my fifth Britney tattoo.
03:30 It is the third of her herself,
03:32 but almost all of my tattoos are inspired by her in some way.
03:35 We are headed to Holmesdale, Pennsylvania,
03:41 which is actually where I'm from,
03:42 to get a tattoo by my brother-in-law.
03:46 (gentle music)
03:49 Well, when Zachary contacted me about this,
03:54 he sent me, I think, four other pictures
03:57 that were done in a similar style.
03:58 And he said right away that he liked this one.
04:01 This is actually the tattoo I'm getting.
04:15 So the reason I chose this as my tattoo
04:17 is because this was at a time in her career
04:19 where she was very in charge.
04:21 She was very in charge of herself
04:23 and her career and her life.
04:24 People have come out that work with her
04:26 and said she was just such the boss back then.
04:28 So I thought, with everything that's going on
04:31 in her life right now, that this is a very suitable tattoo
04:34 to kind of go along with the Free Britney movement.
04:37 What Britney means to me,
04:43 she means strength, resilience.
04:45 No matter what she's been going through,
04:47 especially in front of the entire world,
04:50 she's always gotten back up and pushed through
04:52 for her own sake, for her kid's sake.
04:54 I'm so happy with how the tattoo is going
04:56 and I'm super excited to see the finished product.
04:58 And I'm even more excited to keep it going
05:01 and get more tattoos and add to my collection
05:03 and keep the whole Britney thing in my life going strong.
05:07 Who is it?
05:08 It's Britney (beep)
05:10 (upbeat music)
