00:11 seeking to establish parental rights

00:13 for three-year-old son, ex-Ash A12,

00:16 20-month-old daughter, ex-a-dark side-a-reel,

00:19 and son, techno-mechanicus.

00:21 It appears Elon, who split from Grimes in March 2022

00:24 after four years of dating, has yet to formally respond.

00:28 E! News has reached out to reps for both the Tesla CEO

00:31 and Grimes for comment and has not heard back.

00:34 The legal move comes nearly a month

00:35 after Grimes publicly confirmed she and Elon

00:38 privately welcomed their youngest son, nicknamed Tao.

00:42 Prior to the revelation, in a since-deleted post

00:44 shared to X, formerly known as Twitter, on September 7th,

00:47 Grimes also addressed executive Siobhan Zillis,

00:50 with whom Elon shares 19-month-old twins,

00:53 in their custodial drama, writing,

00:55 "Tell Siobhan to unblock me

00:57 "and tell Elon to let me see my son

00:59 "or please respond to my lawyer."

01:01 However, most recently, the Genesis artist noted

01:03 that she and Siobhan were able to move forward,

01:06 taking to X on September 10th, Grimes wrote,

01:08 "Hey, I would prefer to not breathe any more life

01:11 "into this current press cycle,

01:12 "but I want to de-escalate the narrative at the moment.

01:15 "I spoke with Siobhan at length, finally,

01:17 "which was long overdue.

01:18 "This wasn't her fault.

01:20 "Please don't be angry at her.

01:22 "We respect each other a lot

01:23 "and we're excited to become friends

01:25 "and have the kids grow up together."
