00:23 Since Deacon and Sheila were parting ways this proposal did take her back but maybe Sheila think the time is not right.
00:30 So she may decline the proposal given that just a day ago Deacon was scared about this relationship taking a toll on his relationship with Hope Logan.
00:40 So perhaps Sheila may think first she needs to focus more on strengthening her relationship with her son and after he and other people start trusting her a little, then they can get married and leave.
00:52 I know this is a long shot but we can expect Sheila to be a little emotional too.

00:59 As we all know, Sheila has always said that love and care is all she needs to change and honestly, ever since she's been in Deacon's arms, she hasn't created any kind of violence.
01:11 This may be because she's too busy shacking him up but hey, at least it's working.
01:17 Nonetheless, her only crime is showing up at places she isn't wanted and looking for a way to reconnect with her son and grandson.
01:25 So what if all these influence Sheila to say no to Deacon's proposal?
01:30 She may tell Deacon that while she loves him and she knows he loves her, their timing just couldn't be more wrong.
01:37 So she may promise to make sure to be a part of her son's life and make people trust her before they get engaged.
01:44 She wouldn't want Deacon's relationship with Hope to get ruined just because they want to get married, and besides things are fine the way they are for now.
01:53 Getting married will also mean forgetting what her main goal is so maybe Sheila will argue that they both need to focus on their lives first rather than a wedding and marriage that they most probably don't even need.
02:04 Sheila's not that practical but due to her recent behaviors, we have a little doubt that she may say no to this proposal just for the sake of saving Deacon from the pain of losing his daughter.
