00:00 Unbelievable moment shark swallows divers camera and films its own insides
00:04 Viewers have been left both mesmerized and terrified by footage showing the inside of
00:09 a shark after the predator swallowed a divers camera ever wondered what it'd be like to be
00:14 eaten by a shark? Well, turns out you can now get a little taste of what that's like after
00:19 a bloke was out filming and a tiger shark decided to chomp down on his camera. Conservationist and
00:24 filmmaker Zimmy de Kidd was out in the Maldives last year shooting for a documentary when he
00:29 caught the attention of a curious tiger shark who apparently fancied a taste of his 360-degree
00:34 camera. Incredibly, despite being chowed down on by the predator, the camera survived, providing
00:39 an insane glimpse into the shark's mouth, including its gills and teeth. The footage
00:44 was captured in Fuvamula, south of the Maldives, where the population of tiger sharks is high.
00:50 Speaking about the incredible encounter, Zimmy told The Independent, "I put my Insta 360 on a
00:56 weight and then I put it on the sand and the shark was curious. He saw this shiny thing and he thought,
01:01 'Let me taste it,' and then he bit the camera."
