00:21 The ninth installment of Malaysia's spookiest event

00:24 promises to bring your worst fears to life

00:27 with the most immersive Halloween experience yet.

00:31 Knights of Fright 9 is slightly different from the other festival of fear

00:34 that you have around the globe internationally

00:37 because we have a little bit more local twist into our attractions itself

00:42 because we know how much Asians love their folklore and also their myths.

00:47 So together with Southern Impact Entertainment Group,

00:50 Sunway Lagoon team also came up with the ideas to have a little bit more Asian horror.

00:55 So you have your familiar pontianak, your jeans and also your toyos

00:59 waiting for you at Sunway Lagoon.

01:02 Knights of Fright 9 has 8 haunted houses, 11 thrilling rides,

01:07 2 scare zones, 2 show stages and a new and bigger scary tales theatre.

01:14 There are also 4 new theme attractions,

01:17 Animalium, where humans have morphed into humanimals,

01:22 Murder and Madam Sue, where a crazy chef butchers customers,

01:28 The Legend of Sweetie Todd,

01:29 Bubbleshop Killer of Fleet Street

01:31 and a horror classic, Texas Chainsaw Massacre

01:45 that's just not for the faint of heart.

01:58 The multi-award winning scarefest is curated and produced

02:02 by the Southern Impact Entertainment Company Chairman

02:04 and Global Creative Director, Linton Lee Harris.

02:08 You know we got 9 different themes from across the world

02:11 so that makes it a very, very engaging experience

02:15 because not everyone wants Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

02:19 You know someone else is too scared to go in there

02:22 and they might be with a group of friends.

02:23 So you have to calibrate the whole experience

02:27 for a whole different range of textures and reactions

02:30 and you don't want to disenfranchise someone

02:33 that there's no way they want to go in Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

02:36 So we do something a little bit more softer or fun,

02:39 you know like Lucha Libre which is very funny

02:43 but it still makes you jump but it's not offensive

02:46 or bloody or gory.

02:48 And having those different themes and different temperature levels

02:52 I think has without question excelled our success

02:56 because it becomes an event that you can feel part of

02:59 no matter what part you touch.
