More Than 50 Arrested as Mobs of Masked Young People Ransack Stores in Philadelphia's Center City

A Philadelphia police spokesperson tells PEOPLE that 49 adults and three juveniles have been arrested

00:07 At this point in time, we know somewhere around 15 to 20 arrests have taken place

00:13 thus far. At least two firearms have been recovered. This had nothing to do with the

00:19 protest. What we had tonight was a bunch of criminal opportunists take advantage of a

00:23 situation and make an attempt to destroy our city. At this point, we're investigating that

00:28 there is possibly a caravan of a number of different vehicles that were going from location

00:33 to location. Right now, we have a couple of those individuals in custody.
