K FC is the first and only large fast food chain in Australia, as they tell other franchises to 9News only to card payments. The franchise partners the fried chicken brand were moved to small number of cash in a small number stores in the new South Wales, including Morisset store. We asked if they were moving in a similar direction to rivals Macca's, Hungry Jack, Domino's and Red Horot. Domino's 9News said that going without cash "is nothing we are trying to do now". Hungry Jack, Whopper's home, confirmed that all stories are currently accepting both cash and cards, but brand has not interpreted whether the brand will move towards a cash -free payment system in near future. Morrisset, KFC customers in the new Southern Wales were angry after moving to a cash -free payment system of local KFC. It may be inappropriate for some, while switching to a card payment option only, it is not illegal. According Australian Consumer and Competition Commission, stores have the right to reject money as long as they specify so clearly customers. The signage must show the customer's payment options.
