आईवीएफ ट्रीटमेंट एक प्रकार का असिस्टिव रिप्रोडक्विव टेक्नोलोजी है। इसमें महिला की ओवरी से एग निकाल की उसे लैब में स्पर्म के साथ फर्टिलाइज किया जाता है। इस फर्टिलाइज एग को एम्ब्रियो कहा जाता है। इस एग के मैच्योर होने के बाद, इसे महिला के गर्भाशय में डाल दिया जाता है। यदि महिला नैचुरली तरीके से कंसीव नहीं कर पा रही है तो इस स्थिति में आईवीएफ ट्रीटमेंट की मदद ली जाती है। 40 की उम्र के बाद महिलाओं की फर्टिलिटी कम होने, फैलोपियन ट्यूब के बंद या क्षतिग्रस्त होने, ओवरी के ठीक तरह से काम न कर पाने, एंडोमेट्रियोसिस, यूट्राइन फाइब्रॉइड्स, पुरुषों में स्पर्म काउंट कम होने या इनफर्टिलिटी की वजह समझ ना आने की स्थिति में आईवीएफ की मदद ली जाती है।भारत के हर शहर में आईवीएफ ट्रीटमेंट पर अलग खर्चा आता है।
